i dont like raja sen. much. 300 is one of the most visually stunning movies i have seen in the past couple of years. sad that the reviewer's only point of view, with regard to frank miller, is based on some googling he did before he wrote the review. some movies have 'depth', some entertain.
i really feel that the review has been done keeping kids who can't watch this movie in mind...2and a half stars? who r u kidding? or is it just some kind of grudge ur showing again hollywood box office hits?? please spare us from your future review...rediff...u can definitely get a better guy to do a movie review!! i guess a job should be up for grabs!! the movie is simple awesome...and is definitely a must watch...!!
I am in Spokane for past 8 months. Its a county in Washington state in the US. Every weekend I go to see a movie.It is for the first time, I had to do an advance booking.Both the critics and the masses have appreciated the movie here in the US. Someone has to be really out of senses to give 2 & half stars for this movie.
All this man slaughter on a movie review?Guys,all this makes you not very different from the blood thirsty barbarians depicted in '300'.'300' left me with a bit of dejavu,its almost the same feeling I had after watching Bhansali's 'Devdas',visually overwhelming but 'cold'.'300' Videogame will be more fun to sit through,i guess :)
I disagree with this review and the rating of 2.5. 300 was a great ride. It is not a historical movie, but the Director Zack Snyder has taken reference from an ancient war and created a fast-paced action movie. It has loads of action and loads of special effects. I saw this movie today and was more than satisfied. I guess this reviewer should get a life and start looking at the movie as it seems to be.
Brilliant movie and must watch. Finally a good movie after a long time. 2.5 is really a bad rating by Raja. Boss, did you really watch the movie or did you fall asleep?

I too agree, this movie is a gem and a total entertainer, what else do you need when you go to a cinema ya. comon Mr sen grow up, if you think you are smart enough to judge these hollywood movies than why not go and make your own movie. We will give reviews for it. Mr. sen do you remember Khalid Mohammed, he too gives reviews (all negative) for bollywood movies... he went and made a movie called Fiza (hritiks second film) the film was an utter flop and almost ended hritiks career. so i mean to say that learn to appreciate good things, dont just go on puking all over just because you like to.

i'd only say ur definition of a total entertainer seems to be too narrow, esp. in post-matrix era. Either u r new to english movies (sorry if u r not) or u r a big fan of 300 movie trailer, like me, and can't stand being let-down by a 'cud've been' gr8 movie! Or is it just tht u love to hate Mr. Sen o' a bit** and his crappy reviews like many of us...same applies to the op.
