Guys if you wanna have a fair review for 300 the movie, go to www.filmcritic.com, even after all the criticisms, the reviewer loves the movie, and gives it 4stars out of 5.
and if you guys still plannin on watchin this movie... go for it now.... It is really awesome.. Its a review from an avid Hollywood Buff.. Arian77..
Raja sen is absolutely the worst reviewer ever. He does not even have basic understanding of the word "genre" in Cinema. Who else would say 300's flaw is "stylised unreality"? That is almost as stupid as saying, the flaw with "Finding Nemo" is that it looks like a cartoon, or the flaw with "Saving private ryan" is all the war scenes.
300 is a brilliant movie, and Raja Sen is a stupid reviewer.
Check imdb.com if you want to know what rating the viewing public gives to a movie and not some stuck up snob reviwer like Raja Sen.
Yeah , 300 is unrealistic , so is Spiderman, batman, Superman , HellBoy, Blade etc. Arre yaar, this is a movie based on a Comic Book , how can it be realistic ? The main point to consider, is the movie entertaining ? If yes, then just say so and give it a good rating. We have had our dose of realistic fare in real life. We don't want them in reel.

From which side of world did you come from. God, this whole thing is based upon the Battle of Thermopylae in 480 B.C. in Greece where Sparta turned out to be the winner. This thing is based upon the book written by Frank Miller.
