I am not sure why there is such an argument North Vs South....We are all Indians. Bollywood is ofcourse bigger then tamil film industry since hindi is the most popular language in India and majority of Indians speak hindi. Rajni is definitely a star. He is one of the highest paid actor. He is simple and down to earth. He doesnt meet the press. He doesnt drive the costliest cars in India. Amitabh, is definitely a star. His performance is superb. He is his own competor. He always improves his performance in his successive films. Bu, we need to accept few facts....Most of the talent is in the south. And you get variety of the movies from south. Most of the technicians are from the south too. None will deny an offer from Mani Ratnam. Aishwarya, Sushmita and many started their film career in south. No north Indian would deny the fact that Mani Ratnam, AR Rahman, Rajiv Menon, Shankar are best. They were not the fortnightly stars who are gone in couple of years. They succeeded long back and they are still able to retain their positions.
Where is Ugliness? Is it on the skin color or in the heart??? FYI......I worked in Delhi for few years.
Also, I know about how the autowalas treat the people from north India...Infact there are websites which warn the foreigners about the chennai autos when they travel. And what is the culture in Mumbai now? Do you still see the Indian culture in Mumbai? May be few people...But, not most of it. And how many Rapes happen in Delhi

probably u have not been to our Nizamuddin railway station in delhi, I feel shame coming into the station with double the worst scenario mentioned above. When train enters the north zone, as like our idiotic, nasty and useless politicians & BCCI people, the train systems and its services becomes completetly bloody nonsense. I won't recommend anyone to go to north by trains unless if u r a northindian!!!

Here is a list: Rajnikanth: Who accepted the superiority fo AB and accepted side hero role with him in HUM and Andha Kanoon, You cant even dream amitabh going to south and accept a side hero role Nagma: Failed in bollywood hit in south Jyothika :She is a punjabi again did not even get a chance to act in a hindi movie because of her fatness but no 1 in south.Its some thing like this. Some low level cricketer who are not able to make to the national team goes kenya and get easily selected there in the team and becomes idols. Its all the difference of the level body....

Today south india has the best infrastructure in india. Whether north or south generating more jobs for india?. Its south.
Why do South has lots of industries and MNCs and why do South attracts more FDIs.? Its because of the infrastruture the south has. Dont underestimate the strength of the south.
In today's scenario most of the northies has to come and work in south.
My dear citizen, when you come to south you have to adjust to the southern style of living, food and language. It is as good as southies comming to north. So try to be a global citizen than being a narrow minded citizen. If you come to ANDHRA try to learn and speak TELUGU, if you come to TAMILNADU try to learn and speak TAMIL, if you come to KERALA try to learn and speak MALAYALAM.
Next who told you there is no globalisation in south. Man,where are u living?. Globalisation in india is mostly going on only in south buddy.

South is better than North?? apart from bangalore name a city which isnt as hot as any other part of the country, Chenna and Hyderabad are always howering around 40s Someone talked development, name one state of south which has been categorized as "Developed State", just one developed bangalore or chennai or hyderabad in a state of over 60 districts isnt enough. FYI there is 1 state in India which has been categorized as Developed, and thats Punjab, dont think thats a southern state. South infrastructure?? lots of companies have actually opted to move out of bangalore due to infrastructure, and poor roads.. hope u know that..

Dude when u say developed state, it reflects the per capita income of the people living there. Punjab has the highest per capita income in India, and is closely followed by Haryana as of now..
Regarding the recent riots, where arent we seeing all that, same thing happened recently in Rajasthan, Hyderabad, and who can forget the way bangalore burnt when Rajkumar died, and there were hindu-muslim riots in east bangalore. And what about the cauvery issue, wasnt there problems between the 2 states because of that?? So stop pointing fingers just for the heck of it.. theres no place in India which hasnt suffered because of riots and communcal tension.

And you think there arent any southies outside south?? u havent gone outside tamil nadu in tht case, Go to Bombay, Delhi.. there are lots of southies there, esp Mallus, dont run your mouth and come with facts of your own. No one can deny the megastar status of Rajni, he surely is one of Indias biggest superstars.. But that doesn%u2019t make tamil industry bigger than bollywood, bollywood is what world knows, u can call it regressive, or copying from south films and so on, but the truth remains , that on a global level , there are more people who know Shahrukh Khan, Amitabh, Aishwarya. Only bollywood movies make it to Oscars, or Cannes, which you have very conveniently, chose to ignore. Regarding making money, Rajni is without a doubt the highest paid Indian actor, but he%u2019s not the richest, I never see his name in the highest tax-payers list, it was Hrithik this year with AB and SRK close by. Now don%u2019t come up with stupid comments such as he doesn%u2019t need to get into adds to make money, if he wasn%u2019t money-minded he wont be asking so much money at the first place. And wat really makes an industry big is the no. of viewers it has, Hollywood is the biggest industry because highest number of people understand English. I hope you agree that there are more people who understand hindi, even in India, apart from Tamil nadu, people of almost every state understand hindi. Hai dude, Man world sees all the indian cinemas as BOLLYWOOD cinemas.They dont know how to differentiate.
Next Hindi movies may run all over india, but TAMIL MOVIES revenue is more than HINDI movies friend. BOLLYWOOD is the name given to all indian movies by foreeigners. they still think Telugu and Tamil movies are Bollywood movies. My dear friend we are able to beat hindi movies revenue. Ya this shows a lot about what an ignorant guy you are. first of all, if u ever bothered to read what i wrote, i never said bollywood is indian cinmea, its a part of it, just like tamil, telugu, kanadda, bengali, marathi etc etc.. I had just objected to the fact that some people over here were making it sound as if tamil is the only cinema around here. And it mite be big, doesnt mean no one else exists. and ur living in some imaginary world of your own to believe that all tamil and telugu movies beat bollywood movies in terms of revenue, some movies do manage to do that, not all.
South,North,East& West India is one!!! We love to all great Actor like,Dilip Kumar,RajKumar,Rajkapoor,Kamal Hassan,Rajanikant,Uttam Kumar,Suchitra Sen,Vaijayantimala,Waheeda ,Hema,Sridevi etc.

Around 3 years ago, in Bangalore, they actually banned release of hindi movies, they would be release in bangalore only after 7 weeks of its release date in other centres. All this to save Kanadda film industry. I guess its someone else who is yet to be ready to face the challenge from bollywood. Regd: south technicians in bollywood, my question is if they feel tamil cinema is so great why dont they stay there?? If they feel tamil cinema is better, why would they come to hindi cinema??? Wont it be a step down for them? And not all south actors hv done well in Hindi cinema, some have flopped too, guys like Rajni and more recently Madhavan have been failures there. So come out of your imaginary world that tamil is the only big industry. If bollywood was inferior, no south technician would come, those who have come are actually smarter than you i guess, they know where to go
