Forget about north and south, to apprecicate a person we need to look at the human qualities in him. As far as I know Amitabh whom the north indians consider as God and Sharukh (Badshah) etc have only selfish interests. They have not done any good to the society. They can't even do away with their Chain smoking and land grabbing pretending as farmers. I am no fan of any of these superstars but Rajni as a person is far above them. He is doing many good things to the society, keeps a low profile and does not sell the media rights of his daughter's marriage for a hefty price!!

hello Friends, these discussion boards are provoking hatred between North and South, Muslims and Hindus, bla bla bla.
Watching movies if for fun, Personally I see Rajini as a humanbeing who rose in his life against all the odds, but he is still humble.One more thing I like is the way he agreed for marriage of his daughter with an upcoming hero despite of many factors.Chiranjeevi failed to do that and brought an end to upcoming hero's career.
In our country movies are made in such a way that a 65 year old guy (Read Amitabh) romances with a 18 year old girl, Rajini dances with girls who are younger than his daugther.Its the nature of people who will watch it and worship them for their onscreen peformances ( Good or bad) instead of taking inspiration from their lives.Its not about North or south, Its about treating heroes as larger than lives.
I see too many comments between north-indian and south-indian abusing each other on different blog site over this movie and many other hot topics. Do you know most of starting messages were posted by blog site itshelf, later on we just increase there business by fighting with each other.
Its truly said, India is best place to apply Divide and Rule.
