I just want everyone to sign a petition to declare public holiday on June 15 during the release of Sivaji, the boss. June 15 should be declared as public holiday or please cancel public holiday on Oct 2 for Gandhi day

Some Facts:
Rajnikant's Remuneration = 2* Remuneration of (Amitabh Bachan Abhishek Bachan Hrithik Roshan Aamir Khan Shah Rukh Khan) Releasing worldwide in 27 countries on same day with about 2900 theatres. (Earlier Record-- Krrish in 14 countries in 1200 theatres). India -2200 theatres China-211 theatres Japan-130 theatres Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong-100 theatres Saudi Countries-100 theatres USA-80 theatres UK-70 theatres
And this release is only behind Casino Royale which is released in 36 countries in 3200 theatres. Rajnikant's Remuneration in his last 3 movies: Baba---- 15 crores Chandramukhi-----25 crores Shivaji-----40 crores Rajnikant is only behind Jackie Chan in terms of remuneration in Asia.
Now my question is what is the cost value of a Rajni film and how many south Indian film do business more than 100 crores? If a film can release in 2900 theatre then within 2 week it can earn at least 121 crores(I take an average 300 seats per theatre and Rs-100/- of average ticket and only one show per day).That means within one month it will earn 242 crores.But box office report says only two Indian movie do business over 200 crores, and they are HAHK & DDLJ. I am waiting for list of south hits which one is do business more than 100 crores from any of my South Indian Friend and what is the gross income of Chandramukhi and Padayappa?

MR.Hool.... u r talking abt business ,,, sorry we are talking abt performance here ,chandramkhi was a malayalam classic dub, that movie earned lot of national award ..did chandramukhi earn national award...no...only some out of mind action scenes were added and no were comparision with mohanlal`s acting... talking abt padayapa all the glories of that movie goes to sivaji ganeshan the geat!!

Madhav great my point is if a hero take 40 crores (Some southy friend say 20 crores) and total cost 60 crores but if the movie grossed 60 crores then it would declared as a flop one.
I don't understand if a hero can charge this then what will be production cost and no producer would allow such money to make loss if it could not do business more than production cost. And if it do business of 70 crores(when production cost is 60 crores) it will not consider a big hit.

Hey, I showed Amitabh movies to my American friend and they had really fun time. The way he delivered and his emotions and they were suprised when I told them that he is (nig) big actor in India. They said in india anyone can do anything. Well thatz true.

What's this nonsense about north n south? C'mon guys..... east or west, north or south.... if a guy is good then let's appreciate n undoubtedly Rajnikant is a phenomena. Whether he eats idli or biryani is immaterial.
