If NRI & people who r going abroad are being supported like this, will be fantastic !! India will be superpower sooooooon. The whole world is looking at india now...so this type of racisist remarks will not be tolerated any more. My request to all ....Please don't mix this with Great political leader like Gandhiji's 'idea of Tolerance'. He had some better idea to do that.....Cheers all indian in india and abroad !!

I truly agree with the article. I live and work in England and I agree that no racism is tolerated. I was shocked when I read Mahesh Bhatts statement towards Shilpa... i thght when 82% british population is supporting shilpa thn 100% Indians will be supporting her too... but sadly that is not the case where people like Mahesh bhatt are concerned. They can copy a western movie and earn loads but if shilpa decided to do a reality show in Britain she is wrong. wat does that tell abt Mahesh Bhatt or people like him??? I will say well done Shilpa....you are an image or dignity and grace..and u have madeIndians in Britain proud. I am still a bit unsure about Indians in India...sad!

I agree with u totally.I read the Mashesh Bhatt thing too and I was so disappointed.I was hoping for more support for her from the film industry,but I guess everyone is stuck up on how much money she is making and being jealous.It was nice when Nana Patekar and Arshad Warshi supported her. She really has done Indians throughout the world proud.We dont care about Indian girls winning beauty peagents anymore.That kind of beauty is just genetics.What Shilpa has done is much better.
Dalbir, nice work. I hope the Indian media doesnt attack Shilpa when she gets out of that house.
Whatever the reason for her getting into that house, the fact that she has conducted herself with tremendous dignity and grace, makes us extremly proud of her.

Yeah Yeah ... please support Shilpa as India/Indians only care about cricketer or actors. Where was media, when sikhs were not allowed to wear turbans in France?? yeah why would they care for Sikhs because they are treated in similar fashion in India ... Indian Media is the most hypocritical ... I must say ... They can hurt anybody( by making jokes) but when their celebrity is under the same racial discrimination... then they shout and scream like a little baby.
