I am from Cochin.I think that this movie was an unrealistic awkward movie.First of all the sequential blunders.Supernatural celestial heroes and parasitic heroines are the trait of telugu and Tamil movies.Watch Malayalam movies,it is far better than these.You can't find heroes in Malayalam,who violates "Laws of motion,or Law of conservation of energy",and we people are much more intelligent and literate than you people.We won't entertain such movies.
To all those commenters who said another flop for Vijay, Vijay in trouble, etc. Its ur favorite actor in trouble.. His film has become a disaster. Pokkiri is a superhit everywhere. Now go and take a huge hiding. Pokkiri's collections have confirmed that the movie is a blockbuster already. Rs 20 million in the UK itself??? Ha ha... Get lost buddies! Try some other time. This time, VIJAY IS THE WINNER BY A HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGE MARGIN!

Vijay looks great in pokkiri. I think prabhudeva has used him in the right way. Music is excellent. Asin is gorgeous. Viajy's dance movements were marvellous and something extraordinary especially in the song "dollu dollu". I think vijay has made a box office success another time. Go ahead vijay. We always love u.
I agree with the person above me..... i am from Cochin and i saw the movie.. it was just superb..... at cochin almost all shows are houseful and all are giving agood feedback(mouth publisity is good)...i think it is a superb come back from Superstar VIJAY.........
Honestly, the movie had so many vulgar scenes. As a girl, it was soo embarrassing 2 watch the film. The movie shows gals as weak humans who need 2 depend on man 2 feel safe. It sounds so ridiculous. No respect for women... Its been long time since they have produce a movie like this n it is disgusting. The whole movie was disturbing!!!
From the vamp character in the film to Napoleon's daughter getting exploited. The whole Asin track was about her getting harassed by the cop which ended in a very ugly way which i wouldn't like to mention. The movie was so cheap for potraying women in that manner. R they running out of ideas for god's sake??
I don't even think vijay cares coz nowadays his job is to watch as much telugu movies as possible n then decide which one he would like to remake. I don't have much to comment about asin but my friends who watch the telugu film pokiri said that illeana was more sensuous n glamourous n they liked her better. But i have to say that asin looks like she is putting on weight. Whoever who said that asin n vijay make a good pair must be joking. Seriously, do u guys know the meaning of having a good chemistry????
What i was trying to say is the movie was very offending n a good movie doesn't mean having good comedy n punch dialogues. It should be meaningful...
I saw the movie last night. This remake is not in the footmarks of original. 80% of scenes are same in the orignal n remake. the remaining 20% are worst. Then Vijay tried to imitate Mahesh Babu. But he completely fails. There is no one scene he matches to Super Star Mahesh. Asin also not looking fresh in the movie. Prabhu Deva fails to recreate Original's Magic . Songs are OK, but not good. Finally the movie is worst remade....
Sorry vijay fans , vijay is the only hero in indian film industry who can make a damm squib movies like Aadhi,pokiri from blockbuster original movies . What we can say when one cannot win a race which no one is competing . Let vijay go back to the fore again,try to come up with good movies with original ideas . Not like these ones which will make the original creators of the movies feel shame .
