Reviewer seems to be a Psycho who does not know how to rate a good movie.Better rediff can change the reviewer or close the review section forever
the review made by you on pokiri is such a misnomer and its so biased havent u gone to the theatres in tamilnadu and gauge the public reactions just dont write ur own opinion if rediff.com gives this person who wrote the review another chance its definite that the website will turn out to be a total failure ;pokiri is the mood in tamilnadu and its extremely entertaining ;first go and watch the film before u write a review
Well, the movie might not be as bad as the review says but one thing is for sure... The telugu pokiri is much better than the tamil version. There has 2 be a reason why the telugu pokiri became the all time highest grosser in tollywood n if u watch the tamil version u won't be able 2 find the answer.
The comedy by vadivelu is better than the comedy in the other film but i still feel that something is missing in the tamil version. They try to add more comedy in the film wherelse the telugu pokiri was more serious. The songs are a major drawback. All the songs are typical vijay kind of songs n manisharma only retained 2 songs 4rm the original version... probably that's why some of us didn't get the same feeling while watching the movie coz music always play an important part.
Vijay does his usual thing. Well he is a good dancer n nobody can deny that. Performance wise he was ok but he coud have done better. He was suppossed 2 have a serious look throughout the film but he ruined that image in the song sequences. Well, he did the film 2 satisfy his fans n he doesn't really care if he was able to live up the character. Mahesh babu was excellent n 100 times better than vijay. As long as the movie is a hit he is happy.
Asin was not as glamorous as ileana n obviously she doesn't have a body figure like ileana but this is definitely her most glamorous role till date. Asin was basically alright. The chemistry between the lead pair in this film is nothing compared 2 mahesh babu n ileana pair. Mahesh babu n ileana look like they were made for each other but sadly i didn't even feel anything in this film but probably after this film people would actually say they look good together. People r just so predictable.
The film would definitely do well but it also depends on how alwar would perform at the box office. The film would satisfy vijay fans n thats about it.
I saw the film, and its super dooper hit. Another Gilli for Vijay. Rediff, why is that you cant rate good movies ??..better dont rate them or give them into right hands so that they can rate them well...
Looks like Ms.Shwetha is biased and does not like Vijay. The film is much better than the telugu version. Vadivelu's comedy is too good and has been well received by audience (oppoite of what is stated in the review). The reviewer must watch the film before reviewing and not review based on feedback. I am sure the film will be a super hit and the reviewer will eat her words.
