whts review is this really film is fantastic all the reviews are very good expecialy rediff, this is not good review and correct review, first u close this review and do some other thngs.
The reviewer has written utter crap.I have seen the movie.The music and comedy are good.Prakash Raj was superb.Only minuses were running length(3 hours) and some scenes showing violence against women.Deserves 3 to 4 stars.
rediff sucks....not a fare review...go n watch the film... idiotic person and team had written this...rediff s being good site this time proved to be bad....

i very much annoyed and fed up with the poor stupid reviews in this site for most good tamil movies. the rating surely sucks for most movies. basically SRIRAM IYER and SWETHA baskar is tamilian or not ? and why their rating is so poor and will not be more than 2 STAR ? do u all saying indirectly that all tamil films sucks ?
i really duno why the movie get 1.5 stars only? the movie at least deserver 2.5 STARS !!!!!

For everyones info..im not Vijay fan but the film simpley deserve at least 2.5 stars.,..the film is a good remake and the songs are nice action sequence are great ...
the reviewer is so dumb or BLIND? why she can even mention about the CHEROGRAPHY for the songs ? i read eveeywhere the saying the dance sequence is great ... vijay best at dance..
Asin is cute and the movuie have very fast screenplay and all can go watch it..but i agree the comedy in the film sucks...
do change the reviewr for tamil...all reviewer are giving rating below 2 star..i wonder whether they hate tamil movies ?
This movie portrays women in a very poor light. All the scenes involving women are intended to titillate and cater to sick and corrupt minds, especially the scenes involving Mukesh Tiwari and the scene where Napoleon's daughter is filmed being exploited by some thugs and the one where Asin's clothes are ripped off. And what the hell is that scene where Prakash Raj digs his nails into the vamp's arm and says, "don't you dare shout. You are supposed to keep quiet and like pain."?!?! And the songs likening women to 'malgova mambaazhams' and 'apples who you can bite and wear as sweaters'? Prabhudeva and whoever wrote the script need lessons in respecting women...
I just watched Pokkiri today...how can people say that the comedy is excellent!? Do you ACTUALLY think that a grown adult dressed as a karate master pissing in his pants on a bike, or a water hose being shoved up his arse is 'comedy'?! I think it is a complete insult to the intelligence of Tamil viewers to assume that they would think such disgusting and vulgar scenes to be hilarious!!!
