good that you know how much its costs for an election but you do not know what it takes to give a 12th std exam or 10th std exam b'cause perhaps u have never given one.i am not to cancel that crap but they could have easily postporned it.my family member is going through this so i know what it is.i am sorry i should not have written abt it b'cause i think pple reading rediff are indiffrent towards society and do not really care.

Irrespective of how the new candidate is going to perform, the election needs to be done at the right time. You can't postpone it for public exams. A government is more important than public exams for society in a democratic country like India. You may feel bad when you hear your exam is postponed and you will hate election and all politicians, but still you are getting additional time as it's not canceled any way. However, when you grow up, you will understand the importance of Democracy and Government. Just hope that it's worth to get the exam postponed for the election and the new candidate will do something good for your constituency. All the best with your exams:-)

There is nothing here to get sentimental about. There is a duration for each govt. to serve, after that govt. dismisses and there must be a serving govt. Politics is related with power. Power kills people. There is nothing important than a human life. People care here about society but it seems that you are caring about yourself and your exams and your parents and what ever... When there is right time for the elections, it must held without any stupid interruptions... unless country is in war with enemy country.

I would say education and younger generation is much more valuable than elections and politics. Keeping in view, all the crores the politicians waste for a single operating day, there is a reasonable cause to hold the elections on time. but it should be well planned such that it doesnt interfere exams or any such thing. If every individual is happy and good, collective society would be good.

RE:RE:all are chors

But the truth is,
Cinema production is a wasteful activity.
What's the value of a movie made by spending 10-20 crores? The end product as such doesn't add any value to anybody. What is done is kind of money transfer. Someone pays someone else to act and it gets recorded (this is minimal cost). Then someone takes money from you for seeing that record. The product is mostly perishable (has mostly very limited value after the release date).
Cinema producers in the end manage to take money from the consumer's pocket without adding much value to them.
Product is an "art" so invaluable is not a right argument.
If people pay for entertainment then I'd say the movies are overvalued. No way we should pay Rs 50 or above for a movie. It's like pricing your "roti" at Rs 5000 because some "Super Hotel" made it.
But we can't tamper with prices.. it will amount to communism. Market is determining that SRK gets paid Rs 5 crore for a movie and I am calling the market as stupid and hence we should influence the market through social awareness to stop this nonsense.

Imagine making all those "movie artists" do some manual labor for the "material" benefits of India. Like "essential" commodity business, production work etc. If the "capital" that's made availble for bollywood is given to budding entreprenuers in Engineering, Agriculture, Infrastructure, Health care etc etc.. imagine what kind of developed economy can India become.
These movie artists are all lazy buggers that are burning time/enery/financial capital.
The day Movie industry gets busted in India would be a cultural revolution day day for India.

Some people are so humiliated or driven away by these personalities they even do not bother to use abusive language on this forum or might be this might be the language they always might be speaking even at their home.

Guys..forget these stinking rich people. In our country there are many people, who does not have proper food to eat..do they bother about them..no..why should be bother about any shahrukh,Amitabh or Amar Singh. Let them do their work, we will do ours!!

I agree with you. Talking abt SRK's bad sense of humour, I was in Malaysia watching the GIFA awards some time back. There were many ministers from Malaysia also and some of the remarks that SRK made were really crappy and stupid. Like: "In Malaysia everyone has more than one wife, so they are all very successful(????)" and many more such stupid comments which embaressed many of us. I think Saif is much much funnier than him when they co-anchor any show.

I do not know, how can people become so insane. Who is Shahrukh or who is Amar Singh ? Who are we to comment on them. Everyday thousands of people make joke right behind us. You all are doing the same thing. Wakeup..do your work. Just get out of this controversy. It's all for Amar Singh,Shahrukh and Amitabh. Not for us. We better do our work as a proud citizen of this country.

Dear,
Shujal,I dont think that you dont know that Shri Amar singh is a general Secreatry of a
highly secular Samajwadi Party,an established
national level party and a public figure(not a public servant/or sevant of any body. But ofcorse
he is Buddy like to Amitabji. When being an actor
Sharukh can try to be a politician(seeking rajyasabha ticket from Soniaji),why cant a politician like Amar Singh ji can't attend a Filmy Function, and have a super star Like amithabh as his friend and accompany him. Amithabh himself is ex M.P.from Illahabad(U.P.)
