yes Black was not just inspired some frames were copied frm d english film..bt dz dat robs it of the beauty it possessed..it was such a sensitive artwork..is hightime v indians grow up n give credit 2 one wh deserves it..as ar as Fanaa n other yashraj flicks are cncerned they cant ever b expected 2 make works of art..they r obssessed by the commercial aspect of filmmaking..which is not necessarily a bad thing..bt saying Fanaa was better an Black is as foolish as preferring chalk over cheese..
For all those people who think 'Black' was a good film you should know that it was supposedly 'inspired' from an english movie' (check out the link). Its hyporcrisy at its best when SLB calls KK 'overrated'. Its for this reson that Black was a box office failure and Fanaa a major hit of 2006. Of course devdas and HDDCS were great movies by SLB because of the Khan's acting in them.
Everybody is entitled to their personal opinion and so is Bhansali. And it is not that he is calling a press conference to give his opinion. Others are also entitled to say that HDDCS or Bhansali's other works are crap...how does it matter? Just because he does not belong to these so called camps?

sweta, why he is so proudyyyyyyyyyyy?? his Khamoshi was average. HDDCS was below average in first half and good in second half Devdas was average Black was OK still he has go very long...

no no i m not saying bhansali's films r bad.i thnk his films r good.tht may b due 2 some great actors like srk n salman.but his success has made him proud.he thinks,he is d best n others r worst.this is not right

see here is no question of BAD or GOOD film ?? the focus is on Bhansali's opinion, does he has any right to comment on others films ??
Bansali himself has directed just 4 movies out of 'Devdas' is an over hyped movie. It doesn't look good on his part to make such acerbic comments about anybody else.

In fact both are over-rated, there is no denying that Fanaa was a bad movie, with a weak script, and Bhanshaali is such a moron, first of all he is showing that he is sub-standrad by commenting on others, we all have our opinions but you can't say everything you think , out in public, 1) it makes you look bad 2) it makes people come after you and you don't want that if you Bhanshali. Bhanshali, made that gaudy , ugly movies Devdas, black was ok, HDDCS was grossly sutpid , what is he so hung up on?? Talk about a morin getting high on mediocre stuff, bottomline -- ALL THREE OF THEM HIGHLY OVER-RATED. KOHLI, BHANSHALI & KARAN JOHAR

Dear Preeti, I totaly agree with you. Only the legends have the right to make such comments like B.R./Yash Chopra, Ramesh Sippi or Gulzar, etc.. we can't give any wattage to Bhansali's opinion.

then y don't they call "legends" in their talk show? y the hell do they ask questions and require a frank answers? and if someone gives frank answers as Mr. Bhansali gave, people should not react as if he has committed an offence....

Yes Bhansali shouldnt have put it like that but he did say that the whole thing should be taken in the spirit intended and not seriously. And that is what Kunal Kohli seems to have done. As far as I am concerned the best part of the show was Mallika. This episode was much better than the last one featuring "superhero" Hrithik and Priyanka. That was so boring. Nobody can say this episode was boring.

Exactly sudhanshu, Fanaa doesnt seems real life story. It was full of dialogs "Shayari". Which really sounds stupid. "Most Overated" because of Kajol's come back.
