if you see the 'eye of the needle' you know you have the source of fanaa.kunal kohli even lifted scenes from the movie.then hum tum was a inspired from when harry met sally.kunal has not presented anything original and about mujhse dosti koroge,less said is better.he may be successful in his last two movies but is really overrated.
karan johar is very clever. he makes ppl on his show make harsh remarks against one another by tempting them with a koffee gift hamper! and those stupid guests...if i were on his show i'd hv told him,"to hell with ur hamper.i dont want it.i'd prefer to be diplomatic !" it's not always necessary to call a spade a spade.u may feel someone isnt talented enough. but it's not necessary to be vocal about it and hurt the person in question, especially when u hv nothing to do with him.

wats right with calling spade a spade even if the spade has not hurt u?? a student may not be good in studies but it wont be right on his classmate's part who scores very good markd to comment that the former is an over-rated student when he's not over-rated at all. c'mon no one thinks of kunal kohli as a great director.at least not me. i even dint like fanaa.the bhansali says kunal is over-rated! when,where,by who?? was he dying to win the koffee hamper?? nd ppl like u who r interested in getting entertainment thro ppl fighting against each other appreciate tat. it's bcoz of ppl like u tat all those reality shows nd paparazzi r thriving.
kunal is indeed overrated. after Mujse dosti karoge (trust thats the film) he dubbed sorry remade an english flick as HUMTUM..and FANaa shoudl thank gujarat for success. the movie had more hoels than parmesian cheese. wonder why aamir khan went for it, since the film lacked on creditbility.
Hint- REDIFF should have a poll - indias most overrated directors and see who tops it- seriously!. it may mean bad PR for the site, but what the heck! if u can have 10 of last years worst, why not this!
What Bhansali said is right. Fanna is very very bad movie. Many loop-holes.. Anyway, audience can like anything..and BTW it was produced by Yash Chopra and we all know that they have knack to enforce a flop movie into hit movie. I wonder with Fanna's quality it was a hit movie. On other thought Bhansali is also not so good director. He has record of not taking care of his well-wishers..His sets always has accidents and he doesnt pay to his workers.. All said..this is tactics to remaining in talk and on page3

Fanna is the worst movie of 2006 if it was produced by anyother banner except Yashraj it surely flops. directors like kunal n Yashrajbanner,bhansali r responsible for the below par standards of bollywood for making bigworse movies with popular stars like SRK BIGB N AMIR.
I'm not sure of Bhansali's remark. I mean, I agree that Kohli is somewhat overrated, but I don't think Bhansali is all that great either. I mean, he's had hits. He directs really well. But in terms of story, he's not original. Khamoshi was original. Then Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam was an exact replica of Woh 7 Din. Then Devdas was a remake. Then Black is the Hellen Keller story with a little twist. I'm just waiting to see what Saanwariyan is a copy of.

Bhansali's best movie was his first - Khamoshi. His worst movie - Devdas (SRK is overrated). Bhansali is one of the best directors around. Kunal Kohli is nowhere near him (his hum tum was good; but fanaa sucked big time).

Bhansali best?? seriously... Most overrated I think is bhansali...
Kunal Kohli is not really overrated, I don't think people consider him a great director or anything, so he is perfectly rated. He is a avg-to-bad director and that is what people think. But Bhansali, he is highly over-rated. Only the look of the scene in his films is good, everything else is just crap...
Sanjay Leela Bhansali himself is a overrated director. He doesn't have any right to say anything about other director so harshly. I'd say that Sanjay should start working on something original rather than remaking movies. I know that sanjay is one of the talent we've in Bollywood that doesn't mean he talks rubbish and others accept it so cooly.
I think Bhansali himself is an overrated director. He is so consumed with his ownself that the comment is not surprising at all. Its high time that he worked on something original and will be a commercial hit rather than a over hyped bunch of bull "so called artwork".
