A very over-rated movie with 30 minute thin storyline being dragged with enormous amount of slow moving high zoom camera. I curse myself for taking pains to see this movie in a heavy-snow-difficult-car-drive scenario in Columbus,OH

You must have got a free ticket or someone must have paid you something to see this movie and say - It is Great Movie
People like you should see it again and again so that Chopra can earn something from this movie
A horrible movie, just wastage of time and hard earned money. Rediff I believed on your rating, anyhow hereafter will never go for a movie on your rating.

You are right. I too believed on Rediff's ratings. Some people gets so intimidated by big names involved in a movie, that they feel they would be considered a fool, if they donot rate such movies as good. This is a typical ART film, with some big star cast. I wished somebody could give back the money I spent for the Movie Ticket, although nobody can restore my mental balance, which I lost after I saw this boring movie.

Where is the 'ART' in this movie? It is someone trying to imitate 'ART'. The ultimate irony will be when this movie is sent for Oscars next year and when Amitabh is given a national award for his 'ACTING' in this. Talk about slavish mentalities!!!!

Pl. watch the movie again and you would agree 'ART' in this movie is Amitabh's Real Talent' as actor. To understand ART one must feel it . One must have the ability to read it in his eyes, on his face while he performes that character.
The film was all style and no substance...the same holds true for the performances the reviewer raves about (though Jimmy Shergill, Jackie and Sanjay put in a decent show)...it seems Mr. Chopra has made this movie for the Pardesi audience (who actually believe in the India of infantile fantasies)...as for the review, it would have helped if he/she had seen the movie...the Rana does not hold 'the grudge' against his son...when he berates his son over his mother taking his name before she died he is actually aiming his barbs at Ekalavya...all in all, the amazing cinematography begins to torture the viewer, scene after scene, because of its abject meaninglessness%u2026 if this qualifies as %u2018art%u2019 then Shiv Khera%u2019s work qualifies as %u2018philosophy%u2019%u2026

I am yet to see the movie, but going by the comments on the film I will see it soon. With Amitabh in an altogether different role, the film is bound to create records.
Mr. reviewer, i think you were shown the full movie, otherwise after waiting throughout the movie for the "masterpiece" that u hav described i could only see some remains of that!! what a waste of talent......... Big B should be careful now onwards while selecting movies :(
Till now i was following the rediff movie ratings and believing it, but after seeing Eklavya, i feel so much dissapointed and will no longer believe the movie ratings on rediff.
