My heart bleeds for you when I read the responses to the review. As is generally the case, we again gravitate towards similar movies and resonate on same planes. I agree with your review and I think that the flaws are actually the flaws taken to assuage an audience... but it is a masterpiece nonetheless. It was one of the few movies, I lament was not longer. Awesome review. And I knew, even before I read your review that you would have loved it. and just as a p.s. thanks for hating Vivah.

Are you really sure that a film like Vivah had been screened some time before and it was a blockbuster?
It seems the VVC has rushed us through A quick theme of Dhrama with a leading role(RAKSHAK) of AB,which matches the oLd age of AB.
But never the less a Excellent Scenery.with no story line. Keeps audience at the edge with what next untill the end. Timeline missing for the story frame.
If AB is presented with a Rolls Royce for such a mediocre performance in such a badly putogether movie. I think all the viewers who suffer this pain should at least be gifted a maruti 800 for sitting through this torture.
This is the last time I believe a review in rediff and go to see a movie. What a terrible waste of time and money. The movie has absolutely no story line, the editing is terrible, it doesn't even have a few hearable songs which may have been a redeeming feature. Just because the movie has Amitabh and because VVC has directed some good movies in the past does not automatically make it a good movie. I have a feeling the reviewer has not even watched the movie before writing the review.
Folks, this reviewers are definitely taking money or having some other vested interest. How other wise they can rate a third class movie such as Eklavya with 4 stars. I watched the first show and was disappointed. Movie lacks story. The director forgot the importance of story. Gayathri Mantra is repeated every now and then for no purpose.
DONT WATCH THIS MOVIE & PLEASE REMOVE THE FILM CRITIC RAJA SEN FROM REDIFF.

saji u r absolutely correct.Just b'coz V.V.Chopra has directed this movie and amitabh in the lead role does not make it a good movie.Accept it the movie has a very weak storyline with equally bad script.The stars in the movie had very little to do expect to perform.
Thats certainly not a movie who can earn big praises. Story line is really very thin....not a big base Direction is good...but not a real block buster ..... a simple ok type movie......4 star is too much for this movie........

Sure u can watch bad movie like u did earlier. Thanks for suggestion. BTW remove those charaters and keep him so he can contribute to make somemore shit.
