We never cared about true issues since Independence. And we really did not become in-dependent. We still depend upond others (read "gora") for a lot of things, and we do not take a good stand.
When I was in UK last year around this time, there were talks about this kind of possiblities. And the reason was their gora doctors were not able to compete with Indi doctors. We did not see any protest macrhes or any big event organised by Indi docs.
Anyways, why should our Indi docs take care of the health of goras, when they do not want us???

By the lok of promos in theaters and TV AB's acting looks superb that's enough and the movie has interesting plot too not just like mujhe tum se pyar hai kkkkkkkkiran...
9 out of 10 messages in this very same message board favours Amitabh and makes it explicitly clear who is most popular actor. For Shahrukh fans, dont be frustrated by the facts. he is neither God nor King, just an actor who is current No1 in Mumbai (Ok Metros like mumbai, delhi) and in chennai, kolkatta, banglore they have their regional stars. Infact Sharukh understood his end as the reigning star is nearing (mates, dont be furious, he is no Amitabh) and got panic, even jealous about AB still keeping his stardom. all these stupidties came from this fear and he is vaguely trying to establish he is the ONE. Atlest he succeded in establishing himself as a fool by these silly challenges and statements. to be honest Sharukh was no No1 in bollywood in many of the last 15 years unlike AB where he was No1 from 1976 to 1991. if u have anr griviences pls check www.bollywoodindia.com. ok by the way whatever...you should knwo people in the west like yashraj banner and SRK is one product of these big banners. Now Akshay Kumar is one of the favorite's in overseas. SRK has acted with the best banners and directors of the Industry so he got hits. AB acted with unknown directors and gave hits...at that time even a flop movie of Amitabh would run for more then 8 weeks and SRK's movies flop like they were never released. AB is more versatile ...there are facts that SRK was made by Banners and AB made Banners. Srk tried to ape AB from Agnipath in Ram Jaane but ended sounding like a eunuch in the signal. SRK tried to ape like Don by copying the movie but he looked like a actor without character in a C grade flick. Sum of AB's greatest hits were directed by YR, whats your point? He is self made, no1 did him ne favours. He worked 4 it. SRK owns overseas by so much its uncomparable & pointless to talk about. And those that say he is not as big in India, take a look at the top 20 grossers of all time in the country. SRK did his own thing in Don, he copied NOTHING. AB didn't put half the enthusiasm SRK did in Don. What movie were u watching? A flop movie of AB would run 4 8 wks? lol, prob cuz there wasn't n e 1 else making decent movies. Granted that you have listed some "hit" movies of your King. But he was not alone to take the credit for most of them. Mohabbatein - Big-B was superb so were songs. And bunch of new comers. Main Hoon Na - Aur bhi log the usamen, aur Srk bhi tha. KHNH - Hmmm Saif was there too. Devdas - Grand sets and Madhuri with Aish worth watching. VeerZaara - Again Big-B and Rani with Preiti with same old theme of Chopras. KANK - Should I even list the names of stars here?? Don - Hmm no other star in the movies? But this was a movie of a great star (Big-B), so peole had to watch for the sake of comparision. And anyone who compared, came out with same conclusion - Big-B >>>>>> SRK (>>>>>>> means greater greater greater greater greater greater greater greater).

Its 'grossers' not 'groceries' MATE... lol. the point was no 1 can say he's not the biggest & greatest right now. And who do u think made movies big overseas? Who's known accross the world? U think a boat full of movies floated there? SRK took it there & made it big.
Amitabh agreed to do KBC when all his films were not doing well at the box office and his company ABCL is in loss.AB done KBC for his survival. if shahrukh also follow the mannerisms (humble,calm etc) AB and i am pretty much sure u all would have posted something like "A COPY CAT".imitating amitabh etc etc. shahrukh became king of BOllywood with just only 41 films... i am talking abt KBC..there is no one super star in any field. SRK trying his best to bring out all the emotions in to show..fun,love,friendliness etc.. AB done well in KBC ..but its his style..shahrukh cant be amitabh or amitabh cant be shahrukh. it will take some time for shahrukh to settle down..dont forget..he came from small screen to bigscreen. KBC -1 is big hit because its new and fresh idea at that time.. This great screen icon of india films were big flops before the launch of KBC..but amitabh took lot of time to comeback even after having lot of shahenshah status..just because of poor selection and poor acting in those poor films. shahrukh is always shahrukh..i didnt know up to now where shahrukh has continuos failures unlike amitabh.. even his Karle karle song is big hit..and he is trying all his best just to entertain all of us..whats wrong if he is trying to show us "he is the best"..i think he dont need to.

shahrukh became king in 41 movies.....what king...? and in AB's case he became immortal in his frst 15 years....ppl cried and prayed like anything for his survival after coolie accident...then he was literally worshipped....and still he is going on. he has surpassed the need for hits or flops....he just wanna act now till he can. and as far as come back is concerned. may be AB's comeback movies were not successfull but he was still loved my whole india.. change of roles in reel life takes time......u wud realize when srk wud come to that stage....AB at 64 is doing charcter roles and still overshadowing ppl like ur king......dear AB has seen many king coming and going in his around 40 years of bollywood experience which is the age of ur king.

Huh, SRK did not fail?? Koyla, Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam, Swadesh, Asoka, 1 2 ka 4, Raju etc.. Some of them did not fare as well eaither to name a few KANK, Don (barely hit, KANK is multi-starrer and Don got some crowd becasue people wanted to compare). I can not even remember some names. He is hit with only Karan Jauhar, Chopra camps.
Also, notice the fact that Big-B has been consistently No1 (16 out of 16 times), from 1976 (in 1975 he was No2) to 1991 (when he became really old). While SRK, was never consistent No1 (7 times out of 12) since 1994 to 2005. Also, in 1994 Shahrukh Khan hits the top as Sanjay Dutt is unavailable for films. In between those years (94-05), came Aamir, Sunny, Salman and HR to unseat him from top. And what is more HR is back with a BIG BANG.
We all know he can not make it back to top, it is getting difficult for him with every passing day (HR, Junior-B etc.).

Who is that guy conducting KBC? Sometimes the contestants looks like the HOST. Specially when small rude khan (srk) says Iam king, I am that, I am this.....
First of all we should take the age in to consideration..at th age of 64 amitabh is least expected to run the show like a shahrukh or vice versa..amitabh done the KBC keeping his age in mind. sharukh starts the show my saying boys and girls..where he have more fan following and he is keeping the dignity to cater to older age people by hugging and taking blessing all that stuff. sharukh had more pressure than BIg B because sharukh will definitely compared to BIG B..but sharukh kept his own style.

You do not take blessings of elders by "hugging" them. That is not INDIAN way of doing it, it is Western Style of showing respect(?)..
SR Khan will not hesitate to do "aadaab" to actors like Dilip Kumar (Yusuf KHAN), but he will give any such salutation to other actors (including Big-B who is much older in age than SR Khan). Why so??
I wonder.....
I am not agasint any community, so do not read too much into it. But I would like to see SR Khan a bit more humble.

The fact that your arguement begins with the phrase " you cannot (which u spelt incorrectly) even write proper english' and are using that as a justification for why Ravi should not compare the two actors has to perhaps be the dumbest arguement that will be posted about this topic on rediff. You are writing on a website that is centralized around India...do you honestly think everyone will write 'proper' english as you call it you arrogant fool. To further make fun of your stupidity, among generation X and generation Y SRK is preserved to the essence among Indias youth that Amitabh once was. If you understand target television you will see that it is the youth which is being targeted in this series of KBC. Finally, not everything is as good the THIRD time around....right?....When KBC first came on air the hype was there...the third time around that hype will obviously diminish a bit. perhaps it is unfortunate SRK was hosting it the third time around, and if Amitabh was..and the ratings fell what would you argue then. Its not so much the host, it understanding the target and the industry, which you clearly do not. I cannot believe rediff allows such arrogant people to post messages.

Amitabh agreed to do KBC when all his films were not doing well at the box office and his company ABCL is in loss.AB done KBC for his survival. if shahrukh also follow the mannerisms (humble,calm etc) AB and i am pretty much sure u all would have posted something like "A COPY CAT".imitating amitabh etc etc. shahrukh became king of BOllywood with just only 41 films... i am talking abt KBC..there is no one super star in any field. SRK trying his best to bring out all the emotions in to show..fun,love,friendliness etc.. AB done well in KBC ..but its his style..shahrukh cant be amitabh or amitabh cant be shahrukh. it will take some time for shahrukh to settle down..dont forget..he came from small screen to bigscreen. KBC -1 is big hit because its new and fresh idea at that time.. This great screen icon of india films were big flops before the launch of KBC..but amitabh took lot of time to comeback even after having lot of shahenshah status..just because of poor selection and poor acting in those poor films. shahrukh is always shahrukh..i didnt know up to now where shahrukh has continuos failures unlike amitabh.. even his Karle karle song is big hit..and he is trying all his best just to entertain all of us..whats wrong if he is trying to show us "he is the best"..i think he dont need to.

Like I said, Black was his only decent movie recently. And it wasn't even a big hit. When SRK does films such as Swades and does a great acting job, Im sure u point to its limited box office success... AB's biggest movies in recent years have all had SRK in the lead. Successful marital life???!!! R u on drugs? How is cheating successful? Do u live in a cave? Successful is SRK & Gauri. And what r u talking about white collared? No u shouldn't b against SRK, and to be honest, I've never been the type 2 b against AB. But after reading sum ridiculous posts here putting SRK down in comparison 2 AB... well, I had 2 get in on it. Personally, I don't c y they need 2 b compared. SRK has always spoken extremely respectfully about AB as he is a class act. He's said many times how he does not want 2 b compared as AB has many years experience over him. But y does AB have to b looked at as great but SRK as bad? I agree SRK accomplished a lot, but in the process or progress he became so arrogant and over confident that he does not care about anyone else and wants to become the top gun. But like Ravan who wanted to acquire everything (evern after winning three "lok", i.e worlds), SRK will also come down.
He should been humble and more respectful towards seniors like Big-B. He is called Big-B for a reason.

Please look back SRKs game plan for over few years, starting from Dubai film festival, Paheli, DON and KBC. THERE HAS BEEN CONSISTENT STRATEGY ON SRK PART TO UNDERMINE BIG B OR BELITTLE HIS GREATNESS. SRK SOLE AIM SEEMS TO REPLACE GREATER STAR EVER IN THE FILM INDUSTRY. No worries if it happens naturally. SRK knows that it can't happen naturally, SRK is no match to Big B is talent, charisma and popularity. Therefore he chose the nasty approach, which is bound to fail. DIFFERENCE BETWEEN AB AND SRK ARE AB FOCUSES his energy in getting into the character- Does great acting delivers great performance.. When SRK uses all his energy using hyped media, Putting other people down Because SRK doesn%u2019t have to get into character SRK MAKES THE CHARACTER INTO SRK.
