its easy to sit hidden behind a cmptr and ooze out such shit. if you have an iota of spunks in your balls come out and perform. challenge if you can even match one forth of her talent.

What a bakwas review !!!!
by Passerby on Dec 04, 2007 10:25 AM  | Hide replies

It's surprising to see such ill conceived reviews for such a beauty of a movie. But whoever thought reviews were to be taken for their words.

"The film was anti-modernisation and therefore did not click." - what the hell was that !!! This sentence makes no sense at all to me. If my this they mean no item songs, no hot babes in skimpy clothing, then sure it is. Well, how modernised were Devdas, HDDCS, Bhoolbhulaiyya.

"The content was poor." - I'm unable to figure out this line too. What content are you looking for man!!! If you want content go read a book, you'll find plenty of it, or maybe see an art movie. One of my fav movies is Bheja Fry - it has absolutely no content.

And please, for one time Madhuri was not at the centerstage. Each and every character performed superbly. They were brilliant. Madhuri was only the connecting piece. I am amongst the first to critisize overacting (and lack of it), but this movie has brilliant performances.

Finally the most fascinating part of the movie - the last play, which is a musical of 30-40 mins. It is awesome. I haven't seen something like that in Hindi movies. I'm hoping that the choreographer and lyricist (i think Gulzar) get an award for it.

I saw the movie last Saturday, and I'm gonna watch the movie again in the next couple of days. I recommend everyone to watch this beautiful movie.

few corrections...
first of all this is not a review. it is just the opinion of a few people.
it says or explores why the film might not have many takers.
you liked the movie. may be that is the problem with it. It targets a small audience.

Nope, it targets one and all. The problem is, the moronic junta has been accustomed to super-hype, and does not care to give under-publicised movies a chance.

FLOP movie
by S R on Dec 04, 2007 09:48 AM  | Hide replies

i knew it would be a big debacle and fiasco. Mads can entertain you with her dance but the movie is very important. whatever reason, it is a big flop.

Mamta,

I disagree, for Madhuri has always been a good dancer and very poor actress. And you know that unlike Sridevi who made it big both on the strength of her personality, sensuality plus tremendous histrionics.. Madhuri only had latkas and Jhatkas... so unless she can show her bellybutton in the ek do teen style... you can bet a 1000 pounds with me that she cannot hope to click. Yes, she has a pretty face and can dance sensuously, but thats all she's gotta give. Nothing less and nothing more.

Mandar Patankar
Raja did it again
by Mandar Patankar on Dec 04, 2007 09:35 AM  | Hide replies

What you need to watch a movie with your wife & childrens ??
I watched this moive on Saturday night with my family and even my 6 years daughter enjoyed it a lot.....
Mya be some people like the one who wrote the reviews may not like this moivie for the following reason:-
1> NO SRK
2> NO ITEM SONG
3> NO HOT BABES (with very minimum piece of
clothes on theri body)
4> NO GUNS, ROCKETS AND FUNKY VEHICHLES

After Lage Raho my daughter keeps on asking why we are not taking her to any HINDI movie and last Saturday we fulfilled her wish.

I suggest REDIFF & Raja Sen to form 3 groups of Hindi movies and give the reviews accordingly.
1> ONLY SRK Movie (for which a rating of 4.5 should be set as DEFAULT...as Raja gives the same)
2> X rated movies (like we have XX etc in Ehglish)
3> Complete family movies

For 1 & 2nd groups reviewer should be RAJA SEN
and forlthe 3rd PLEASE HAVE SOMEBODY SENIOR MOST PERSON WHO IS WRITING REVIEW FOR A DECADE or So.

I really feel SORRY about RAJA as he will not ab able to rate any movie 4 in coming some months atleast as there is no SRK release.

how to kill a movie
by meenal bhatia on Dec 04, 2007 09:19 AM  | Hide replies

I am absolutely amazed at the reviews which Rediffmail gives...its obvious that the reviewer is terribly biased...otherwise I dont see any reason why such an entertaining film like AAja Nachle should get such terrible reviews. Its a shame!!1 loved the film and Madhuri was superb in it...all the othert character actors performed brilliantly....with the exception of the music I dont see anything wrong in the movie.
