Why India?
by on Apr 29, 2007 05:13 AM  | Hide replies

Honestly, If we allow this to happen and nothing was done then everyone will come to try it. Why did he not do it in UAE or Saudi Arabia? If he is helping the displaced Tibetians I am beginning to doubt his motives. Is he helping them? or is he kissing the women? As an example I think he hould get 3 years instead of 3 months.

Because, you moron, India has the highest number of AIDS/HIV positive citizenry in the entire world. Its already wiped out villages and ruined millions of families in Africa, and Richard Gere has been working with Indian agencies against this epidemic. If he kissed somebody, that's a problem between those two individuals, and idiots like you, if you cannot do anything for the AIDS victims and their families, should shut the faq up. But then you have to give idiotic pontifications and get some self gratification, dont you?

What is your problem?
by KK on Apr 29, 2007 01:34 AM

Shilpa and Gere enjoyed the Kiss. Then what is your problem? Is it because you didn't get a chnage. First contol the rapists in India and then talk about these type of silly matters.

Backward Hypocrites
by on Apr 28, 2007 09:29 PM

It just goes to show you how backward India is. It is so embarassing to show the world people burning pictures of Richard Gere and Shilpa Shetty because of public display of affection. May be if they showed more public affection the HIV population would not be so high. People would have a healthy vent for their emotions instead of always having sex. Incest is a big problem in this country. But it's behind closed doors so that makes it okay. My advice to you Shilpa is to move to the USA where people are not such big hypocrites and so backward.

How were you born, in your culture? How were your parents born, in the same culture? I took my then 4 year old son to a temple (no, not Khajuraho!) and was shocked to see the details of sex carved so explicitly all around. And the temple was only 1400 years old. Please don't talk about "OUR CULTURE". Of course, our culture did not allow us these types of kisses, they wanted much more from us!

ohh Plzzzz.. Don't you watch any indian movies? This kiss was much much better than what we see in Indian movies. I have never seen anybody protesting against the movies? To tell you the truth, English movies are far far better than any indian movie when it comes to exposure or kissing stuff..

there is crime everywhere in the world pioneer......its how you handle it is what matters.....you cant stop poeople in this world from doing what they're gonnna do.....however as for crime in Canada, its bad even in Van where i live, but least we have laws......India doesnt know them.......they have a one-minded way, and its from the 1900's and judging from what happened w/Shilpa, its never going to change! What if this had been Akshay Kumar kissing a girl, white or Indian, they same stupid fuss would still be being made; grow up and quit making such a big deal over oooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh a Kiss!!!!!!!!!! Wow!!!!!!!!! People just have no shame these day's, "eh", lol!!!!!!!! Good God!!!!!

forget, akshay kumar will not behave like this on aids stage atleat i am sure.with name and fame comes responsibility and behaviour of both gere and shilpa was irresponsible, they were not partying or celebrating birthday.see amount of force gere used on shilpa to pin her in that position and then go on and on,no woman will enjoy that force on that (aids) stage.i could not see any affection but a beastly behaviour.opinions differ but i may remember how a canadian thaught on this when i drive form buffalo to toronto to montreal to quebec next week.
