i can now say that after a long span of time there's been someone in bollywood who can take mantle from amitabh n give him farewell. srk rocks. he is far more superior than the don from 70's. well le me b very frank with every body look if it iz don it's got to be like this. shahrukh u have time n again proved that u have taken over from amiotabh n u r indeed rightly called king khan n badshah of bolly wood. god bless u
Hey Hey! the remake is not so bad after all!Yes Boman Irani dissapoints,but remember,the story of this new Don is DIFFERENT. The characters have to be changed. In the original Don, its Vijay who acts as Don for most of the duration of the film,and only Amitabh could have done it, but in this new Don, its actually Don and I feel ShahRukh has done very well as the wicked Don. Only Farhan Akhtar could do justice to the famous dialogue "Don ko pakadna mushkil hi nahi, namumkin hai".In the original movie Don succumbs to the injuries caused by the police,so he was actually caught and "Don ko pakadna mushkil hi nahi, namumkin hai" makes no sense in such a case! I feel Amitabh did well as Vijay enacting Don and ShahRukh did well as Don himself.
Total Flop show... looks like watching a remix video album.. :) On top of that SRK is making faces to look alike Angry Young Man.. In brief looking stupid.. ;) Movie is a copy of name, fame, story, songs, Dailogues and even char names.. and still claiming its a new try... what else left to copy over... FLOP SHOW!!
I dont understand why are SRK fans raving about grand openings of his films? Real good films do consistently well rather than just in opening. Openings can be hyped by media campaign, promos etc. But once few shows are gone and words of mouth spread, real test of movie begins. Many in business are not happy with 2nd week earning of DON and is falling fast. They are telling it semi-hit. Old DON was released without any promo, other heavy-weight movies were released in the same week and old DON's opening was not good but movie became blockbuster hit later on.
all those who didnt like the film "don" pls listen u r just a sucker nd who dont have a mind of watching films as u expect this much from a film 'jitna tum aapne bb se bhi nahi karte utna' and i loved the film as well as SHAHRUKH's acting and i like srk very much more than my life ok! nd pls think b4 posting wrong messages bloody.......................! fellowssssssssssssssss.
frst part of don was l'll boring it was zerox bt later, next half picked up pace n nt only in actions bt even the climax was far far btr than the original don.In no case we can compare srk n Big B bt still srk has given full justice to his character.Hats Off to srk.
It is stylised movie very different from the earlier Don & Sharukh performance is very good.He fits the role of Don perfectly.If anyone thinks to remake the Don than their would be no better choice than Sharukh Khan.The Climax is awesome & stunts are beautifully picturized. Good work Farhan Akhtar & Sharukh Khan
