Nice Subject.

Well I think that this is not just a movie about awakening the youth or anything like that. The movie is about different times and different set of values between one era and the contemporary times. It's about different circumstances that put the youth in different times of our History into doing something Extraordinary or Radically unconventional. It's about volatality and awareness of ones inner emotions or the lack of it which is more pronounced at a younger age than at a later stage of life.
The movie states in the broader sense that young people (when put in adverse circumstances)don't take things lying down or accept it as their destiny but instead they have the guts and the courage to change the direction of the winds irrespective of the previous knowledge of severely catastrophic end results.Even though the sets of values, way of thinking or the way of living might have changed but the emotions have not. What Bhagat Singh did for his beloved object (motherland), DJ & co. did for theirs (Their friend). The beauty of the movie lies in the fact that there has been a very deft treatment of a very difficult plot. It matches 'Black' in substance and performances, though storylin

spellbinding ... one of the best .. the movie brings with it such an intense level of energy and .. there you are right in the middle of things .. thinking ..as it plays out in fron of you ..

brings out the burning question in you .. what's the true reason we are here ..and answers it too .. help a cause .. the right one .. bring about the change .. a good one .. to top it all.. live life kingsize!!

Has portrayed the youth in an exuberant fashion...yet keeping it so true to life ..

Definitely a soul-stirrer and thought provoker..

loved every bit !!!

This movie is excellent...... Such a movie which makes you think and make you a part to it and takes you along with it..... especially the climax which is so touching and real......One thing which i liked in the movie that its not trying to be too preachy but the message is given clearly in an absorbing way. It shows how selfish we all are.......... nothing else in our life other than our own life and always we can hear one or another saying \\\" Is desh ka kuch nahin ho saktha yaar\\\" and everyone laughs at it and agrees.

As a movie it was really wonderful to watch this movie. even the music was excellent A R Rahman has done an excellent work. Once again he has done his magic with music. Great lyrics by prasoon joshi...

Amir Khan was great with a stupendous performance. all other like sidharth, kunal, atul , sharman joshi, soha and Alice Patten have done great work in front of camera.....

And hats off to Rakesh Mehra for giving us such a good movie.....

Well RDB was damn good no doubt about it. The scene which I liked most was the one when Amir Broke Down cause he couldn't do anything on his Friend's death and the one when Atul Kulkarni sings the SARFAROSHI KI TAMANNA AB HAMARE DIL ME HAI. I think Sharman Joshi was a surprise package his timing and sense of humour was too good.

In all a very good movie.

Bravo : What a film can Achieve !

Bravo : Can not find words for Rang De Basanti !

One of the many good lines in movie "We will become politicians, IAS, IPS .. to bring revolution"

Rakeysh, you did it being a film-maker ! The bang you created resembles the last scene where new generation Bhagat Singhs plants the seeds for future.

I don't want to evaluate the film on technicals or music or acting skills or even direction skills , no none of those at all. Simply the spirit the entire team has put into the film to bring out the real inner self and ignite the fire within the viewer. Its like a thrill ride where you go all the way up and there is a free fall.
Same way RDB takes you to the height of fun and joy and then suddenly gives you a free fall to ground where you belong and that's where you feel the helplessness as Aamir exhibits.

What a way to put across the message! no heated arguments and no discussions to preach ! Just plain simple events depiction. Its true that new SMS generation is not going to like anything longer and preachy. AND RAKEYSH you have preached them being one of them.

We need more and more like this from you and may more like you !

Vande Mataram.

really a wonderful movie, didn't make much hype but live upto its expectation. in fact all actors performance are wonderful and captivating.good to see soha ali khan in very natural shed and so beautiful. a subjective topic with a very light melodious and entertainmently unfolded. and a much wonderful musci by A.R. Rahman really mind blowing. full credit to the director and whole casting. we should advocate and look forward for movies of such calibre. Rubaroo was mind blowing, like other song, prasoon joshi, soha, madahavan, kunl, and above all amir khan and Alice Patten dominate, in this saga.

the movie clearly depicits that even though we may not deeply rooted and stuck to our history, but when time demands we have the same forwarded gene to carry out the rebel in same manner. Romance and Career does not make any difference when it comes to fighting for justice for our near one, as so to for the entire community.

full marks to the team,go watch and re-comended it.

While watching MANGAL PANDEY i was somewhat disappointed tht there was nothing in the story and scipt to show AAMIR his skills

But after watching RDB there in nothing left to discuss except congratulating AAMIR -THE REAL HERO
