Excellent movie to watch . A good combination of Past and presnt . Specially movie turns at AJAY RATHORE 's death and the MInister's statements. Really the Statement given by that minister is real portray of Indian Political scenario
I have seen Rang de.. , really it's a very inspirational kind of movie. It's about youth, collective efforts, empathy,tolerance, harmony, love, passion...... it's about our own values.
"marne ke baad Zinda rahne ki kala" is dipicted by this movie and that too very beautifully.
Being out of Ibndia I am yet to watch the movie. BUT reading all the reviews and the storyline I couldn't help but find a clear similarty with a hit Malayalam movie of 2003-04 by name "For the People." The basic storyline, theme ,characters and ending are too similar to miss. Well RDB is more upmarketish! Obviously fund, publicity and actors!

must see movie, would have really loved if the end could had been more practical, for ex. they could have an expos'e like Tehelka and they could all have made a carrer thru Media etc... overall a nice movie. :)
It is a wonderful movie. Aamir Khan's 3rd patriotic film in a row is a pleasent surprise. Music is simply great and the direction is very fresh....one almost hopes to bump into those youngsters in the multiplex where the movie is playing. Kudos to Rakeysh Om Prakash.
rang de basanti is truly a contemporary movie....its one film that has actually made the youth sit up and discuss the theme. the performances were fabulous and so was the music.
hope we as the youth seriously do something about the system that we continuously criticise and see a better country in the near future.
