hi all
i think this public votting shud surely be stoped.its sad earlies these musical shos were the only relief amongst horrible soaps but now all this real life drama has made such programs even worse than them.its right that all these program provide a good platform to the budding talent but after watching these reality shows it seems that these programs r making all the budding artist all set to enter in this big bad world of show business and telling them that to get redy for all the tamasha and bad politics of this big industry hence we r training u for that ofcourse u may be good artist but thats not enough.
in short all this stinks.
regARDS

The regional voting puts crown on Debojit
by nitish on Feb 25, 2006 05:48 PM

So the grand finale is all over. A much less deserving person, who got so many yellow cards in the earlier rounds was ultimately crowned, not because of his singing talent but because of 2 crore and 70 lacs ( out of 2 crore 77 lacs total votes he received from all over the country )votes that he received from east zone, that too mainly from assam. A person who was nowhere in the competition and almost lost the battle from west, south and north zone became the voice of whole india. I think, it is not the failure of vinit, but failure of SAREGAMAPA talent hunt.

Debojit is the best
by Rohit Agrawal on Feb 25, 2006 05:37 PM

Debojit is the best singer. his voice is much powerfull and he deserve this win. Vinit is also good singer and he got unbeliveble support from all over the India. We congtatulate to both of singers for their outstanding performance and prey to God for their bright future.
Vinit is also done a good job and we are proud of him. "Sa Re Ga Ma" should have right get the best programme of the Year as without Sa Re Ga Ma we can't see these hideble singers.
Thanks Very much,

The results are out.Like it or not Debojit is the winner.
Did people know where Assam ,at least they will at this moment. Is Assam a part of India ,I guess it is Himesh.Anyway contests are not about music alone it is how much passion you can generate, isnt this what Hindi filmy music is about(or even the music videos) .The maximum number of votes means the maximum amount of passion generated by the singer .Otherwise how do you get millions of votes from the poor eastern India and the neglected North east.Kazi a guy from Kashmir another neglected area wins the fame Gurukul, now Debojit who is hated the most by the rest of India wins the Saregamapa.Who said Saregamapa brings out the talents in the society, there are lot many talented people stuck up in different parts of the country ,like Sonu ,Shreya or Shan, this is not about ability but about availability it is how much exposure is available to young people. This is the 1st time the north east was so vocal ,which has taken everyone by surprise, otherwise for a majority India ends with Kolkatta.Vote as an Indian for an Indian was a sick dialogue by an ignorant person which made matters worse for Vinit. This caused feelings of alienation.

I think Mr.Mahesh peri needs to learn a few musical notes himself or listen to a frog croaking carefully...for the reason that he thinks vinit croaks when he sings...

If you have watched and listened carefully to all the episodes of the reality show i think vinit was wonderful and flawless whatever song he has sung...even the judges and all the mentors have felt the same...i am not saying debojit was bad but then he has goofed up many a songs...but will never agree that vinit croaks!!!!!

So you guys there know what the coverpage story of coming issue of outlook magazine is likely to have....debojit ...aur kya?

All for channel rating
by not important on Feb 25, 2006 10:30 AM

Anybody knows the fact when debojit first came in Saragamapa before Challenge 2005 They were showing Debojit from Mumbai and when he entered in challenge 2005 suddenly he remembred about the his native place very funny, only to catch the peoples from northeast for channel rating. When one of the songs in elimination round he sang his mentor himself said How debojit came up to final 12.and now he becomes India's voice.

Zee's Sa Re Ga Ma
by p phukon on Feb 25, 2006 09:40 AM

We have seen more drama than music in the Zee's Sa Re Ga Ma. The emotional outbursts, histrinics were all there for the viewers. The TV show may have become hugely successful as a programme but the grandeur of a musical show was missing. It is my personal view that the voting as a method of selecting the best singer by whipping up emotion is not doing any good to music or music lovers. The episode of 19 January had all the elements of provoking the feeling that North Eastern states are not part of the mainstream India. This was in a very bad taste.

However, our ray of hope is the people like Ismail Darbar who stand tall with his balanced views amongst all chaos.
