Assam and the other northeastern states are very much a part of India and it is a shame that people in central India behave as if their little state is the world, rather than encouraging regional politics, the damn organisers of the show should focus on talent.
i want to say onething if debojit got maximum vote from assam didnt vineet got maximum votes from his home state uttar pradesh and hemchandran from andhra pradesh the difference lies in the fact that debojit got some more votes.If someone votes for vineet and hemchandran then that is indias vote and if someone votes for debojit that is assams vote

My view on this whole series hosted by Sa Re Ga Ma Pa is that it has lost the core for its popularity over the years. This programme has a respect over the years for the quality of singers and the unbiased judgements made by the judges who understand even a minute nuance in a singer's rendition. I bet public never votes based on quality - but feelings, it can be regional and in some cases just because the singer looks good on screen!!
But this series took this basic concept for a ride with the gimmick of public voting which other programmes like fame gurukul have also ridiculed and u can see the output !!!
I would suggest Zee TV to stop this mockery to get higher TRPs and come back to the old ways supporting genuine judgement !!!
People like you differientiate between castes and human beings!! Where was the mentor's greatness when he walked out on Debojit? If Vinit was supported at all times by his mentor it was because he deserved it! He comtinousely got a Green card & points 8-10! Agreed Debojit is a good singer but better were Hemachandra, Himani & Nihira! This was to be India's voice!! Unfortunately no one can control public votes I m sure as off this result Gajendraji and all other like show directors will think of all the loopholes before going for public voting. Debojit does so not deserve to win this competition! The people of sa re ga ma pa rightfully disclose how many votes debojit has got from the NE. the amount of votes the guy gets from the NE simply proves the fact that the competition isn't about the best singer but about which region you are from. Can i also say is the publisher a Bengali?????????? i mean as far as i am concerned i no that every single bengali or person from the NE has voted for debojit! why? becos he is from the NE. i mean did u hear him sing bluffmaster, it sounded like a dead song. The votes which he gets from Dehli and calcutta are also from the population of NE people hu live there. Did u also notice that debojit only started getting the highest votes after ismail did the walk out thing. complete sympathy voting!!!! if ismail darbar thought that injustice happened to nihira, then think of it this way nihira was out becos debu was in. Mahesh, I am with you when it comes to foolishness of Himesh and Adesh and their gharanas paid heavily for that. Hats off to Ismailji and Deboo who protected their dignity. Deboo was shocked but as he is mature and has a strong support of his wife could keep his singing uneffected by all the opposition. Well public realised this and supported him more through the remaining episodes. The regional divide is wrong and the politics played by Himesh and Adesh is dirty.
