KANK is KJ's worst film. No doubt it is a bold theme.But there no soul in the film. You have to feel sorry for someone. I only felt sorry for Aby. I felt like slapping RM for her unhappiness. In KJ's earlier films, he made us cry, in this he made actors weep and weep and we never felt a thing.
Best Film??This is the biggest joke of 2006!!In fact I refrain from calling it thy worst film because it is worse than worst.
A completely foolish plot( go watch Cartoon network instead),confused charecters ( watch the sob-serials on Telly instead) and wasted big names,especially Big B & Preity Zinta!!What a shame the movie is.A BIG NO-NO!!Dear Karan,please dish out your old stuff in the theaters instead of KANK.
The best thing about KANK is its abbrivated title. The next best thing are the Buchhans, followed by taking of the movie. The rest is CRAP. SRK & RM hangs around Phily stations and NY streets. RM is grim for no reason. SRK has a slipping back pack and keeps put it up as if his life is in the bag. It is a 7 year saga, fit for a TV serial in the late nights. You really need a large coffee to sit thru this with Karan.
Kank is a film about disturbing reality. I am proud entire KANK team as i always proud of their previous works. Instead of scolding at the movie a person can introspect himself and can make correction wherever needed. I astonished to see people doing blah blah when infidelity sets between a man and women and the same cannot be said when a person's infidelity against the nation is shown. How selfish we are is it not...!
It seems like kadwi goli gives with sweat rasgulla. Bad Story , at least not for india, SRK is very bad...Amitabh & abhishek have only added flavour to the movie else sab bakwaas hai.....
According to R. Kulkarni, if KANK is Johar's best film I wonder what a bad film from would be like!! I guess the writer of this review got carried away by the gloss/packaging, completely losing the plot like the Director himself. Anyway, each to his own and so much for 60 Crores...
Am sure, in days to come writers/directors of such films/ideas in Bollywood will spend more time researching the realities and the nuances of story structures before embarking on projects like KANK or else we will have to live with 'audience torture syndrome'of Bollywood films.
I think KANK is one the worst movie ever taken by karan johar....he has tried taking a negavite story in a positive manner...and he has failed!...the movie is a CRAP!...dont watch it...
