So Indian Cinema is getting BOLD to the extent of even making a movie which is baseless in its conception. Where I agree with films touching bold topics, I disagree with the foundation this particular one is based on. If infidelity is the topic, then by all means, express it in its true sense, where in reality the affair would first of all not be disclosed to either spouses for their forgiveness, but which would either be a passing phase or would be a formal break-up by no means a forgiving act. Which man or woman in todays day and generation would forgive and forget come on? KJ - hats off for touching such a topic, but at least make it believable. Rani had no reason to have an affair, or the fact that IF she was confused at the time of the wedding conforming to the kindness of her caretakers maybe should have been elaborated on. And then she finds true love in an irritable, always snapping guy; SRK? Well well, girls are we really like that? Do we not like our men going ga ga over us, and being ever so Abhishek like? Movies like Mr & Mrs Iyer; # Park Avenue"- evoked a better sense of Indian Cinema emerging to higher extents! Good luck for ure next!
thx for Bollywood to produce the worst movie of 2006 in India. So good to see one indian in top position (KJ) is teaching others to have an affair and live in a westernised culture. Wow the reviewer should be mad to say this movie is the best of KJ. the movie sUXXXXXXX and very long and unacceptable story. this film is only for western country and indian can keep away from theatre. dont lose ur money by watching the dumbest movie of the year. how come the star cast agree to act in this film which degrade indian values . As we know stars juz want money and SRK will act in movie although the srory sucks if he gets good amount of money . maybe because he consider himself as a western people who is not a pure indian.
For SRK, :- Don't work hard too much and spend some time at home else your wife will leave you for some-body like Rani did in KANK.
For Rani:- Don't make too much money and work too much else your future husband will leave you like SRK did in KANK.
Movie is getting revenues only because of Cast coupe, else its a promotion of extra-marital affairs and all actors of KANK are part of it. We should bann or give "AAA" certificate to such bold movies
No wonder kajol & ajay rejected the movie. Karan replaced kajol with Rani n Ajay with abhi n tried to show the world that kajol was not happy with ajay... n she wanted to come with shahrukh...No wonder.. Kajol had rejected the role.. Karan should have stopped from directing this kind of movie...but still he directed movie n wht bad thoughts he had in his mind God only knew... n the reason for SUPER DUPER FLOP...I really had a gr8 expectations from karan..Moview should be like DDLJ,KKHH or atleast like K3G but this had made very bad impression... n SRK...he had messed up... his hair style really sucks in this movie.. he is good for his hair style n smile.. both he had lost...Dont know when the day ll come again n when i ll see movie like DDLJ n KKHH..
I just want to congratulate Karan Johar for making such a different movie, I know our society it's full of double minded peoples who can write something off coz of their ego, they can't accept the changes coz they are bound by the society as they say but when they have to face society they will say i don't believe in it. But the fact is only this that we can't write off anything which is good and can change our society for good. These double minded peoples will sleep with new girls everyday but when they have to marry they want a BAHU TYPE biwi. It's simply rediculous. Karn I believe in ur movie and its a good sorry welcome chage for our double minded society. WELDONE KEEP IT UP. Diamond has it's own spark it doen't have to burn like fire to show it's flames.
