Not sure why a director like Karan Johar tried to justify such relations which are not so common in our society... when it comes in such good directors movie it creates a feel among the people that this is not unusal kind.. or something of that sought...
Karan, please keep in mind that cinema is a influential medium.. please don't misuse it..
I am sorry but this seems to be Karan Johar's worst ever film it promises a lot but doesn't deliver and is tooooooooo long and drags the story right through the second half and songs are no where near his earlier films i am puzzled how could u rate it as his best
The film is trash.No I have not seen it and don't want to for I don't want to waste 30 odd rupees on it for hindi films never deserve a multiplex ticket.They don't have the sophistication,subtility nor story line of a hollywood film.Like the other candy-floss Karan Johar films this one also turns out to have a background set in a first-world country showing an oppulence and glut of wealth and giving a bad name to the word-money.Traditionally rich people don't show the pomp and garishness which the overnight rich shopkeeper will show as is depicted in every karan johar film where money is thrown around like water.You will never see such crudeness and disrespect of money in a hollywood film(watch Wall Street,Gone with the Wind to get my point).SRK is a ham always has been one since Raju-ban-gaya-Gentleman.The rest of the cast with much greater talent are doing it only for the money for there can be no creative satisfaction from this film.A film that shows grief amidst a glut of wealth fails to carry it's tragedy to the audience.You have your wealth to fall back on if you have a social setback.This is what Karan johar fails to recognize in every film of his.
i read ur review.. srk is a total loser in film... but whts it with rani... abishek was ok with his wife.. any body at this time who has work will only get tht much time to share with her wife... if all of the wifes start thinking tht way then wht the point in life... if ur husband is busy(if u r married) and if he doesnt get enough time to spend with u but u know tht he loves u ... will u leave him... kank was a total crap......
Thanks to Airtel to Benevolent gesture i could watch the movie. Although i would like to debate whether Airtel should have associated with one of the dumbest movie i had seen in recent times. The only good thing about the movie are a few good songs, stellar cinematography, good coreography.
Shah Rukh Khan does not inspire confidence in his acting. The story line is too staid. Big B and Small B have done a good job although there is not much for Small B to do!!
Shah Rukh should take a leaf out of Aamir Khan when selecting good scripts!! If this was Karan Johar\\\\\\\'s best film i dont know what to say.
One of the biggest dud\\\\\\\'s as far as movies go and i will seriously refrain anybody from watching a movie like this especially if you have a precious weekend time to spend on
