from the promos i think shiney stood out with his cold stare and high cheekbones.he will sure go places inspite of his rather girlish name.its good to see he values his fathers sentiments.emraan is as usual and kangana can try to look more human than being dolly polly.the artificialities of today's actresses make you wonder to cry or laugh.
Gangster is a wonderful film with power-packed performances from all the actors.One of the finest film ever made.I truly acknowledge with Mr.Sen for his commenst on this Film.I went to watch this before reading his article.And I must say this is the best review a film can get. A very correct appreciation.And surely I am buying the VCD..It's worth keeping it for life-time,specially for Shiny Ahuja!
Well.. I saw the movie and really liked the way it is narrated and the way it holds you back to know whats all happening in the movie... All the actors have put in their best and its really a movie with difference..

Gangster is an ultimate ultimate film and i think everyone out there should watch it.i went to watch it today n believe it or not,i saw its next show as well.its that GREAT!Shiney ahuja,kangana and emraan hashmi have played their roles extremely well.Shiney ahuja and kangana are two ppl to watch out for.I'm so sure that they'll make it big just as emraan hashmi has made it big today.The music of the film is rocking.All in all,Gangster is the best film.Kudos to the director,actors and the rest of the unit.Excellent!!!
I think the review by Raja Sen on Gangster is not over the board. Despite Emran Hashmi being in the movie it isnt marred in any respect. I dont like the " serial kisser" either and his performance in Gangster was no good but one needs to see Kangana and Shiny Ahuja to actually like the movie. Shiny Ahuja is a rising star- his presence in the movie is so powerful that you are left wanting for more. The story line is gripping and you really want the next sequence to unfold.
Saw it yesterday after reading review. The charaterisations are flawless, the performances are superb and the execution is smart. However, the story moves at a little slow pace. Music is WOW! Great numbers placed strategically add to the appeal of the movie. Beautiful locales filmed artisticaally is the icing on the cake. Go Watch it!
