Go to indiafm.com and read sensible reviews by Tarun Adarsh. Rediff team of reviewers (or failed strugglers at Bollywood??) need to wipe that smirk off their faces thinking of the "control" they think they wield on the movie-going populace, and know the basic truth. Most of us read it for getting some snippets of the movie, not to take those views at face value. If you really need to learn how to review a movie, try checking out some by James Berardinelli.
Sukanya I think the way u write reviews ultimately u will loose ur job. people say that industry is killed by piracy but i think people like u kill the film industry. U should always review the movies from common man point and i think u should only review Hollywood moview and go further i think the distributors of Hollywood movies have hired some journalist to give negative reviews of bollywood movies. I have seen Naina and it is a bold experiment with selective audience and technically veru very sound moview. But U keep on killing movies. And u should rather try to write facts and flickers.... Waiting for ur next negative review.

Hey ViKas, Well said bro, these rewies r to be made for the comman man. And these film critics think that their only job is to criticize the film makers and the films. Same thing happened with Kya Kool hain hum and the movie turned out to b a hit. Atleast with this they must start thiking.
I watched Naina. It was not bad at all. Quite a few scares and jolts. A bit overdone in parts but a nice story anyway. Very well directed. Can watch once.
And i read just head line of your review..what printed in my mind was ALL BORE.....and i been to hall for naina yesterday...Really this movie is well directed with a real script...why you bother overseas movies if copied..just wath this movie as common man...it really good movies......many few positive point of direction..Be a die hard cinema lover in true sense and then review movie plllllllllllls...Thanks
very good review , the critic seems to have a good knowledge of world cinema , it is very frustating to see these copied horror flicks one after another with no creativity of our desi directors , it happens in naina as it did in vaatu shatra , its very amusing for the viewer who is exposed to world cinema.
thumbs down to these movies , thumbs up for this review.
I enjoyed reading the review. The beginning was awesome like the beginning of a movie itself. The best parts were -- 'On screen, this translates to...', 'But gore is a poor substitute for psychological terror'.
The review lost track of the purpose towards the end with all those interventions from the trivia. It lost a bit of structure -- cohesion of ideas.
