Black is the best of all 3 films. Black is our pride. Still Black didn't get nomination for Oscar, its strange. Black should get nomination for Golden Globe awards.
I and many other are thinking the same that among the 3 films only and only 'BLACK deserves to be nominated and should win the award. As only he has the power to produce want the world behind the eye is. I personally thank Mr. Sanjay Leela Bhansali to make such an whole heart;y film.

I totally agree with the first part of your message. None of the 3 mentioned movies are worth a nomination to Golden Globe...
But hey, Swadesh may be a good movie, but it didnt have an original script. It was a copy of a Kannada movie, Chigurida Kanasu based on a novel with the same name....
It would be nice if Iqbal would get thro to the nominations...
Firstly out of the 3 selected movies 2 are a remake movies that is one from a Kannada movie and other from a English... I think first we need to give credit to the original movies and may be talk of these. And secondaly i dont think the yash chropa film was hit..yea it had made a good collection at the box office but i think the movie was not as good as his other hits. I am very sad, that u have not included the likes of IQBAL and SWADESH... they ver the movie which had a strong script and mind u a very original script. I hope the rediff and other give respect to these original movies than that of the stolen scripts..
Honestly, none of them deserve to be nominated. For that category one ought to try sending something like " Maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Mara". Though one can rationalise why BLACK could be considered, I fail to understand how can sheer nonsense like the other two movies be nominated. I really wonder, when exactly the top brass associated with such nominations will ever think of nominating films that will not make Indians and the Hindi Film Industry look like a cheap circus. It's utterly frustrating when movies like Devdas are sent with great hopes....please tell me, what exactly were the great minds who thought of sending that movie thinking?? The movies are judged by people who are certainly not braindead. Our great selectors should bear in mind that the movie that is sent would be competing against the best from each country. The category is Best FILM and not, The BEST NAUTANKI. In case, the brilliant brains of our country can't really find a movie whihc is worth sending, then please refrain from sending anything at all instead of making a mockery of the entire nation and its people.
Pl have the guts to send MOVIES, that will not be a DISGRACE and project our country in good light.
Yes they do deserve a Golden Globe, esp. BLACK. It not only has a different story, it also depicts the frustration, feelings and inner most expressions of a visually handicapped person. Rani has done a splendid job of it. I cannot imagine anyone coming at par to her. Rani reigns, rocks.. whatever u call it. Their is no match to her. Not even SRK. He tops the popularity chart, but when it comes to acting.. Rani reigns..
