the movie KAAL is i think is no 1 movie of the year bacause the story of the film is excellent and the characters and actors are so perfect in their role.ajsy devgan has done anexcellent job.john has also done good work.i think ecery one should watch this movie two times good luck bye.
1. Someone else who is more skilled had directed it. (Ram Gopal Verma). Director was really failed short but he will learn.
2. Tried to scare ppl with stupid camera work. Looked really funny. There are better scary scenes in some horror serials on TV. Should have been avoided if they cannot do it well.
3. Please give a break to Devagan now. I guess everyone (at least I am) sick of his same old acting with no innovation. Now since government has put a ban on smoking, he will have real trouble performing on screen.
4. Vivek Oberoi- This guy has zero acting skills and still he was lead star. John A acted well with him limits. I dont know why producers pick Vivek oberoi. No i am not angry with him becasue of Ash but he has to seriously learn acting.
I dont want to be too hars on the director but some scenes could have been better.
I didnt think Kaal was "funny" at all. It is quite a good movie and a commendable effort to make something different. Wonder what tickled some peoples' funny bone ? Or could it be that they just didn't get the movie at all ?
I saw Kaal yesterday and I thought it was pretty good. I am quite surprised to read the other comments on this site, panning it to such an extent. It is not boring at all, Devgan is brilliant and the movie is a refreshing change compared to the trashy bunty and babli genre. Go watch Kaal !
Excellent direction, gripping till the end. However Choclate heroes and heroines shouldnt haven been cast for such a theme. Devgan, oberoi and the other two extras are fantastic, total miscasts are the two heroines and JOhn with their hopelessly mismatching outfits. FOr these miscasts anyother new faces would have done a good job.
