Well, I dont know with what intention this movie was made. I watched the movie actually assuming that the movie is on tigers etc etc..but except for 2 shots there is no catch on tigers at all...I dont understand what Soham was trying to convey in this picture...it looks like he wants the people to believe that there are no man-eaters but everything happens in the jungle coz of GHOSTS!! Outlandish I must say..want to debate?
kaal has breathtaking loacales and very good camera angle, but it lacks the content say for example the movie has pleanty of scence from FINAL DESTINATION, WRONG TURN, RING but the film falls flat on keeping the average viewers on edge as the conterparts in englishmovie has the twist can be seeen coming from the begining, when the climax is disclosed the film looses its novelty, and the people escaping from the jaws of death is indeed funny. the reason given for the killing doesn't make sense. if ound the 1/2 of the movie very intersting but after the entry of Ajay Devgan movie began to fall apart, but i must agree that Soham has a good feel for horror he should go for more horror thiller but with a good story.
The movie in the first half was slightly boring, but in the second half it does get quite gripping, ajay devgan has done a good job, so hv the rest of the actors, there r a few flaws in the story of the movie, which can b surely improved upon as the director and story wirter move on with his forth coming movies. Overall nice movie. One thing good is there r no unwanted songs.
Kaal is one horror movie gone totally wrong, its more of a comedy movie to me.Also the reviewer of rediff is one comic fellow but atleast better than Mr. Taran Adarsh who has gone completly ga ga over the nonsense movie, so rediff review is atleast better than India fm one he he :) one sincere advise, avoid the movie :)
I think the movie was aweful.One cannot pay and be seated in a theatre for such a sad movie.The only thing what made sense was the background score by Salim-Sulaiman,but other than that it was all crap.
The movie started on a different angle and ended wherever it felt like.The dialogues were pathetic.The script was as bad as it can get.
I am really sorry for such a director who makes no use of banners like Dharma Production and Red Chillies.I also believe Karan Johar must only think of drama based stories where people can atleast sit and cry for three hours.
Karan start moving out of the Jungle.Thats not your place.
A simple, adorable romantic melodrama "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" catapulted you as one of the finest directors as well as producers in Bollywood. "Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Gham" as well as "Kal Ho Na Ho" simply bolstered the fact... But your fourth venture into an alien topic, a spooky thriller, Kaal is not going to take you anywhere... Don't call me chairoyolant when this movie will cause a spur in your career graph! I read it somewhere, this can be a flop since his lucky mascot, Kajol is not appearing in the movie... i would rather say, this will be a fiasco as karan is missing in the movie!!!
