'Kaal' the latest film from Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan is simply fooling the children during their vacation time. It is very unfair on the part of these well known names for taking the young ones for granted. One never expected both these popular names to behave like an elephant. i.e. to use their pair of teeth for display and other for eating. That's what the publicity of the film through trailers and promos indicated that it was a Jungle thriller involving tigers. But it was more like caving in a mountain in search of gold and find a mouse instead. In short, the duo have spoiled their name by not only copying Ram Gopal Verma but more so by cheating people. Perhaps they knew very well that the film would not catch up with word of mouth publicity and hence simultaneous release at many screens at a time was planned to catch the first timers at theatres during the children's vacation. At least Ram Gopal has been sincere enough to declare openly his movie theme and also accepting the 'A' certificate. But, "Kaal' failed to discolse openly that it was a Ghost film. It took the audience by force for a ride in thge jungles in the company of two young couples, their two companions, a driver and a stranger. In short, 'Kaal' is disappointing with tailor made role for Ajay Devgan. John Abraham following the footsteps of Salman Khan,Vivek Oberoi playing within his limits and Lara Dutta and Esha Deol moving in the jungles as if they were challenging the tigers, displaying their Quadriceps and hamstrings. But, instead of tiger one of them falls prey to a Ghost, who is one amongst them. Finally, since when the film makers needed a Censor PRO ? That's what the credits displayed. Watch carefully. Is it to avoid 'A' certificate ? So, that target audience would be children or the entire family during the first week itself ? - End of the review.

One mejor fault in this movies is entry of ajay devgan with three Wild cat .that shot by taking else where some guy with latest sony handycam why they didnt come to know ajay devgan is ghost while that guy shoot ajay devgan entry with digicam & that vidio recording know to vivek at the end of movies . there is no need to enlarge "kkaaal " story

These so called famous movie makers are a joke on indian film industry where anyone starts making movies if he has money. Making good movies is a art and anyone who has money or access to film industry should not do it. This movie which could have been an excellent thriller movie ended up in being like a comics "chacha chadhari aur sabu ka mayajaal"...

Kaal is a different film, and is not a movie which everyone would like.. different that the family dramas, and love triangles... go for it, if u really think u are different and like few thrills
Except Ajay Devagan no one knowns acting. the film was not directed well & stop vivek oberai i dont want him to see in big screen any more but the story was unexceptable
one has to agree with the reviewer that the movie is a big letdown. neither has it got a sensible story, nor has it got the thrills and horroe element. with such a good starcast, direcrtor soham has made a real corny movie. The twist watever u call, is such a silly one that one can just laugh at it. and all the hype about the tigers is nothing but a gimmick. All in all, Sohams' debut is way below the mark.
