Amitabh needs to go
by John on Dec 06, 2005 06:28 PM  | Hide replies

I definitely think its time for the old man to go. Our country can never advance if 99 % of the people are busy idolising another man and not doing something productive in that time. This is possibly the curse of indian society. Our worship of materialism manifest in its various forms will always ensure that we remain subject to what we must master.

I think you are pathetic. People need to be inspired by someone like Mr. Bachchan and you are criticising him being on the top of his career for this long just because you have some issues of your own.

Move on dude

Is Amitab Over exposed
by Rajaram Alva on Apr 22, 2005 02:31 PM

I don't think Amitaab is overexposed. We only see him more and more. We are eager to see some thing new from him everytime we go to watch his new movie. If there is repeatition , why blame only Bachan ? He has been a director's actor all along.

Is Amitabh overexposed?

people who feel that AB is overexposed should stop watching his movies and ads. then only the film makers and ad makers will stop casting him. we Indians have an opinion about everything. first of all we don't want to admit that we like Big B around us one way or another, secondly its his right to choose what ads or movies to do. I think that either the marketing guys are crazy or we are too obsessed about criticizing everything and everyone.

Is Big B Over Exposed?

Not at all!! After what he has done for Indian Film Industry, he desereves MORE than what he is getting now.
I saw him in an Interview on TV (US) and am proud to say that he represented India in a very honorable fashion. Two thumbs up from Me!

Overexposed Amitabh
by A.H. Venkatachalam on Apr 21, 2005 06:52 PM

I had posted my message on the 20th. It did not find a place here obviously because my view was different from others and also those in the editorial board. I hold Amitabh responsible for deliberately initiating and encouraging the cult of violence among the youngsters of seventies by his `angry young man image. The trend of vengeance initiated by him unfortunately is still continuing. Cinema is a powerful medium. It can make or mar the society. A nonviolent man is not an impotent person. Abishek instead of following the footsteps of his father, should try to reverse the incalculable damage done by his father to the society at large at the behest of producers and directors.

we can digest the fact that amitabh bachchan is over exposed. what is undigestable is the fact that he appeared in movies like boom in which his role was pathetic. simple horrible. also he should not take up add like "banphool" hairoil and such.
