Well the bottom line is to make money. And since Big B is so talented and popular he's the best choice for any endorser. But we can't deny the fact that his performance is amazing at his age.But it's high time that we realise that there are many more Big Bs in India who are not even given a chance to prove themselves.Lets respect talent be it in any field.

For what ever reasons,he is simply unavoidable.
May be because of this he is there and is roped in for almost all the projects.

Is amitabh bachan being over exposed..??
by Puneet malhotra on Apr 21, 2005 09:20 AM

Amitabh bachan...When it comes to this name there is no question of being over exposed..He is a legend, dynamic actor. It doesnt matter if he is doing 100 adds at a time or he is working in numerous movies...But let me put it this way...When a aitabh movie or amitach add is coming on TV and you r going going through the different channels on TV..You tend to move backwards...This is what Big B the legend all about..

Is Mr Bachchan Over-exposed ?
by Suresh Mishra on Apr 21, 2005 09:09 AM

I am sorry, I can't help commenting on people who has posted their views instead of me commenting on the actual Question.
First of all I'd like to know from the people who has said that 'Yes he is over-exposed' & he is doing too many commercials, any kind of movies & so on. Please my dear friends, don't comment on a person's choice. Though I know that he is a celebrity so what ever he does has to be good in relation to normal people but are we trying to snatch his (Mr Bachchan's) right of freedom in the name of an ICON. And on top of that the people who are saying that Mr Bachchan should not do this, should not do that & looking at his age he should do this & bla bla. I'd like to ask these great fans or may be so-called socialites that where were they when Mr Bachchan was running through a bad phase? Did any one of them even wrote a piece of letter to his sympathy, Did any one of them even care to see how they could do anything for him from whom today they are expecting to be like what they think He should be.
And if some of you think that he is looking at things from his commercial point of view only then probably you would not have been posting your views if He doesn't do that.

He is like a family member
by Lalit Jha on Apr 21, 2005 08:15 AM

Feel it...He is like a family member to all TV watcher and cinema crazy people. You have your mom, Dad, Brothers & Sisters whom you watch everyday in home...it seems good as they are family members. Big B has occupied the same place in our life.

None has been as successful as him in this Indian film Industry. Even in his gray...he is uncomparable. He is not overexposed...people like him and want to see him more. He has given a new meaning to the Film Industry by doing so many variety of movies. He doesn't chose to be in films with the best directors/ Producers/ musicians etc...But everyone else wants to do films with him.

Sometime this nonsense Media comes up something to stir up a controversy...but he is like a Godfather. His films are not made for certain section or for NRIs but for everyone.

Its true that scripts are written first & then actor/ actress are selected. But, I think Amitabh is the only person for whom scripts are written separately.

He is just great. Like sun shines everyday, he lits up our lives. He is like a never fading flower whose fragrance lighten up the whole atmosphere.

Is Amitabh over-exposed

Amitabh Bachchan is an actor of rare calibre. He has been through life's ups and downs and has continued to enjoy the goodwill of his millions of fans and admirers. Another thing. He has all along accepted roles impartially, ones with rare sensitivity like Anand, Namak Haram, delightful comedies like Namakhalal and quite few masala mixes as well. That is what has endeared him to the masses and the classes alike. And herein lies his saleabilty in crass commercial ads. Those of them with more discernability than the rest may not greatly like his being in them. I don't believe he overly cares for them either. But one can safely assume that he takes these decisions not without much thought. It could be as someone has mentioned in this forum that it would not do for him to keep up the contracts signed in not so happy times. But when so many of us can see our favourite characters in soap operas over the tube regularly, year after year (if we do miss them, it is through no real choice of ours), i don't think we would get overly perturbed if we happen to see a much liked figure again and again over the same tube.
