ARR has once again given his best and also totally different feel in this whole album. What a fine mixture of tunes and sentiments. And each lyrics and tune fits perfectly and hits directly on your head if you hears the tunes a couple of times. Each song is suited for a particular emotion. I admire the diversity shown by A.R.Rahman in this album and amazed by the continuious experiment he carries on himself and on the listeners. I sincerly hope all his efforts is matched by visualization by director and his camera man. A.R.Rahman is a relentless genius. I hope this film would be a huge hit and again lift the popularity and spirit of A.R.Rahman. SWADES is different and will surely touch your heart, hard and soft. SWADES tunes are fresh and soothing. PERIOD !!!!!
i don't think that swades music is far behind than Lagaan.it is equally good if u see the situation.i m sure that u will like music and song dekho na is extremely good.us hould listen to all the songs u will find it is great one.
I am a die hard fan of Rahman sir's music. He is defenitely improving after every film.Like Lagaan, Swades too has a simple look.
But the music of Swades is one step ahead of Lagaan.
The first song in Swades, Yeh tara woh tara, sung by Udit Narayan with Master Vignesh Baby Pooja and kids is good.
The second one, Aahista aahista by Udit Narayan and Sadhana Sargam, is really worth a mention.
But as we go on, the music seems to sound more better.
Yeh jo des hai tera is sung well by A R Rahman, and is worth listening to.The lyrics of this slow song, penned by Javed Akhtar, touches your heart.
Pal pal hai bhaari, a bhajan, is simply nice. The beauty of this song lies in the way it praises Lord Rama and his deeds.
In the audio cassette, ther are shehnai played to yeh jo des hai tera, which is just superb. After this there is flute played to pal pal hai bhaari which soothes your ears. Dekho na, by Alka Yagnik and Udit Narayan, and Saanwariya saanwariya, by Alka Yagnik, are again good.
But the best of all number is Yun hi chala chal sung by Udit Narayan, Hariharan and Kailash Kher. Kailash sounds excellent.
Swades being the latest Rahman release, as usual steals the heart of all avid melody lovers. The first song in the album 'yeh tara' is definitely not a passable one as mentioned in the review by Syed Firdaus Ashraf ! It is based on raag Kalavati & Rahman has blended it excellently with vocals from Udit, even the lyrics depicts the importance of unity. Aahista is again a beautiful number with a theme of lullaby -- a soothing track. 'Pal pal hai bhari' is a situational song but if u sit through it, u can thourghly njoy the track which is again a classical based on raag Bhimpalaas. On the whole, rahman has again created the magic by his unique compositions leaving his fans thriving for more.....
