Honestly...Rediff...we believe you know that you need reviewers. "Okay", "Boring"? This doesn't seem like a review...its more like an editorial. Get peoeple who know how to review!
i though didnt liked the music in the beginning but later, after listening to 3 to 4 times i think its a very good album, i particularly like the song YEH JO DES HAI TERA...
What the hell has gone into ur head to say 'Yeh Tara Woh Tara' is passable while all other reviewers give full stars for that song. You almost complained about all the songs(except two) and finally say 'Swades is touching'. Ha ha ha...
after going through the comments of other readers , i can conlude that rediff readers are the best critique. they very rarely have liked a review and always have asked to replace the reviewer.the heading of the review says "touching". apart from the first two songs, he has described all others as above average or good. this is not done on the part of we readers also that whatever review we read,we start criticizing them without even reading the review properly NOT FAIR AT ALL

The "two" songs that he has panned as "passable" and "really not worth a mention" are in fact two really good numbers. Rediff readers are perfectly justified in criticizing Syed Firdaus Ashraf for this below-average review.
Hey guys, If you have noticed over past few years..rediff reviews of music are getting amatuerish and sort of hastily written ones. Whats happening to this portal? And really...are these rediff guys really READING THE FEEDBACK they GET ON SUCH CRAPPY reviews?..i don't think so..we might be wasting our time. Also such amateurish reviews seems to be reserved for arr albums, below average anu malik's albums gets pretty good reviews by rediff.
swades was the one which we all were eagerly waiting for and it was worth the waiting. this is simply superb. We knew that Swades will be great when the maestro was the composer but didn't knew that this will be so beautiful. To all the music lovers, pick this album of the year without thinking twice - Swades is a gem.
I seriously hope Rediff comes up with a proper review of "Swades". If those thoughtless scribblings is called a review, then I would like to confirm my opinion of Rediff hiring the most crappiest reviewers all the time. C'mon Rediff why do you hire such junk reviewers?
