i watched lakshya 3 days ago and i still can't get over it.what a movie!!!the only word which can describe its essence is 'noble'.i haven't seen a more genuine movie in recent years.be it the performances,the photography,the direction,the choreography...u can't get any better than that.do i really need to comment on hrithi's performance?he just blows u away.even someone like me who wasn't a die hard fan of his,is really in awe of his acting in this movie.it was flawless.the scene with his dad,with preity telling her about his lakshya,the parts where he is the confused dude...no one could have done it like him...subtle yet devastatingly effective!not to mention how hot he looked in uniform :) preity depite a small role left her mark.farhan akhtar needs to be really commended for his amazing direction.if i liked dil chahta hai,i loved lakshya.he even managed to get a good performance out of someone like sharad kapoor who is otherwise a mediocre actor.thast says a lot.the cinematography in this movie is undoubtedly one of the best ever in the history of indian cinema.to sum up,lakshya is a movie u will feel proud to watch.it takes indian cinema one step forward.
Lakshaya is definately worth a watch infact many watches. Hrithik roshan has as usual out done himself in dancing, acting and looking good. He should be the real baadshah of bollywood. Hrithik has surpassed all of the expectations
i think that farhan has really proved that he is a league apart... as i have seen many falling flat in their second movie after delivering a good first movie and also i would like to add that first time i can appreciate hrithik's work... as i was doubtful about him
This is a movie that every Indian should be proud of it makes you feel proud of your country and of your soldiers who fought such a difficult mountainous war and succeeded we should be proud of Farhan akhtar and the cast of Lakshya who brought this to us. I only wish the media would stop bringing the movie down it is such a fabolous movie i have already watched it twice and loved it more the second time than the first my advice to all would be see it twice and then post your views. kudos to the team of Lakshya make me feel proud. The government should see it and give it tax free status so more indians can see and realize what our army goes through for us.
LAKSHYA and Koi Mil Gaya are 2 blockbuster movies. KMG was mass oriented, Lakshya is purely class oriented. Coming to Hrithik's performance in KMG and now in Lakshya, there is no doubt that he is the best actor of India.Even Amitabh Bacchan was completely overshadowed by Hrithik. Lakshya has a superb climax and has technically the best war sequences ever made in an Hindi movie. The difference between JP Dutta and Farhan Akhtar is again in quality. Farhan Akhtar and Hrithik Roshan, gives us undoubtedly the best film of 2004 till date.
