I havent seen such a versatile actor of India other than DUGGU. He is playing different roles in every film of his, and not like the conventional 'crying' lover boy of the industry. In KMG Hrithik fitted Rohit's character to the T and did the mentally abnormal part and the dashing-wooshing part superbly. In Lakshya, he plays two phases of Karan's life, first where he is aimless and lost in life and the second the bold soldier of Indian Army. DUGGU carries out both of them with full conviction. DUGGU is truly different from other Indian Actors both in quality and versatility. DUGGU is the true 'DYNAMITE' of INDIA. LAKSHYA is simply a gr8 movie. BIG B said "Hrithik will become a Legendary Actor in future" after watching Duggu's performance in Lakshya. Hrithik truly has the potential to become the best ever actor of India. Well done DUGGU! You are gr8. I will wait for your next movie eagerly, and I am sure you are again going to mesmerise me with your MAGIC!
One more fantastic apperance of hritik without doubt. He has done marvallous job. It was really difficult to shape up the character in this film but Farhan and Hritik made it possibal. After Yuva this is another inspiring movie for all the youths.Forget the flaws in movies, remember the concept.Remember the energy which flows in your body after watching this movie.
once more hrithik has proved he is a superstar.o.k someone tell me would shahrukh khan do the roles as hrithik did in koi mil gaya n lakhsya.check the way he dances in the song mai aisa kyoo hoo.improving with time,ha.soon he will be doing an international project in a film called paani.i dont know how main hoo na became a hit.it was not that good for an actor like shahrukh khan.

I have also seen the film 3 times and I will watch it again only for the rock climbing scene @18000 feet. What a scene!
I love seeing Hrithik's performance because he is the best. Obivisiouly he is elected best hero.But hrithik's performance in Lakshya is really brillient.
There was a snob named Gauri who came to the US a while back and she would tell anyone around here how Hindi movies were stupid and it was only for "stupid Indian people of lower classes". And she went on how she was of high class and caste and how she, her family and her social class never saw a "fun/regular" Hindi Movie. She went on to say she had a Masters and would only see English films.
Who was she to put down Indian Movies? I would like to tell her and people like her that Even I who have a masters do like fun movies. I who according to her defination would be from a high social standing love the song and dance movies.
Some of them are bad in quality but I like the good quality song and dance Govinda, Hrithik making faces, Salman, Rani yelling at someone movies whether they may be produced to masses or not.
Lot of people are praising Lakshya because stylistically it is Western. Many saying how this movie is for an Intelligence audience-- well that makes me a little sad because it seems upper classes will always idiolize western values rather than their own Indian innovations and cultural heritage. high class or not don't put down fun hindi movies. thanks
The feel of the film was not good. There were not any good songs.
This movie felt like an American Movie to me. I don't watch Hindi movies to see versions of American movies. The acting was too much internalized. The colors were subdued. The plot style and filming style and ending was too much American style of film making. It was unbearable to watch. I would have rather seen an innovative Indian Style Film. Any Hindi artists with fresh ideas??
PZ's outfits were western flavored as well as her mother's. Has American imperialism captured India without needing an army to do it.
To me Hindi movies are popular because of their colorfullness and difference in comparison to the western style of movies.
I don't know if this is true but heard film had some western advisors. Since these movie industries are in competition, they might want to steer movies away from what the general public essentially like bout Hindi movies and decrease sales.
This movie is essentially about patriotism and rallying around the military using popular actors and a story. It is a good way to get some messages to the public and educate the public about joining the military.
While I was watching this movie, I wondered if it was a piece of propaganda? : a recruitment movie for Indian Men to join the Army. In my opinion that is what the movie conveyed to me.
They were asking why there has to be war. Men are particularly have an affinity for war. In a way since India's balance of male to female ratio is in trouble (with India's male population being much hire, the government has to have an outlet for the male population.
What better way to recruit men to the military, than gloryfying the military experience. At one point one woman prasies how men in uniform are extremely handsome appealing. Also, with suddenness Preity Zintas character gets angry and stomps off when Hrithik's character leave the military academy to come home. (this is suggestivly trying to control situations in real life saying to men that if you dare leave the military no women will be with you unless u stay in the military) There are not many female characters in the movie.
