Models can only do modelling,Aish has had only 2 hits till now, both of Sanjay leela bhansali's, all the other movies nothing too great to talk about,Bipasha,nothing to talk abt her acting either. Acting is an art which either has to be learnt and not every tom,dick and harry who has good looks can take it up.
sure y not,evryone is an actor in philosophical terms, but in professionl side too, models too could act if they posess artistic talent , and like other virtues (people blessed with), they posess great looks.
Eventhough Ash is an Example.. others proved otherwise. Yet to prove metal is others. cant blame coz models come from a industry where little acting skills are required. I think still u cant categoris ethem. things may change
Models have an easier entry into films as they get exposure through modelling, and it becomes easier to get a role than an ordinary person...some of them can act and do make an effort like Sush, Ash.. ultimately it all boils down to..anybody and everybody can act given the right training, coaching and if you get the right breaks you will be successful, be a model or not.
None of the models are capable of histrionics. They only know to dress (undress) as scantily as possible. The finest example of a model turned actress or non-actress in Aishwarya who has absolutely no charm or any acting capability.
How can such a general question be asked? Models are like people from any other field. They may just have one facet of their personality (beauty)highlighted in the chosen profession. Shankar Mahadevan is a computer engineer and an excellent singer. Shekar Kapur is a chartered accountant and a director. So, why cannot anyone be a model and an actor if he or she has it in them? If you can try and make an actor out of an abhishek bachhan, the king of flops, surely, you can mould milind soman, a much better prospect into a good actor. This question is based on the premise that models do not have anything going for them except their beauty. Give them a chance to work under good directors and I dont see why some models who can act cannot be good actors.
only if the film is treated like a 3 hour music video can anything half decent be expected from the models...Models have no clue about what the entire acting biz is all about. once in a blue moon comes along an exception but the fact is: models are too dense to play anything remotely real or believable...
Models are stones.The best thing they can contribute to Bollwyood is leave acting and focus on their modelling careers. I know many people talk about ash...but she's an exeception. Out of 50 models who have entered the film bandwagon only a few have been able to meet peoples expectations. So I seriously feel..models should stop acting.
Y are we saying tht models cant act...infact the whole bollywood industry cant act ...of course leaving aside the great BIG B....and the older actors/actress...no a days its only expose...thts all
