Nafisa Mohit
Baghban
by Nafisa Mohit on Nov 05, 2003 05:52 PM

I have seen this film. It's a good film. May everybody won't like it,because it dose'nt have any masala like that of sharukh's film, but difinetly a film to be watched by every child. It does not has very hi-tec song numbers, but a message to every child that never betray your parents, coz' it's only our parents and god who will stay with us till the end and no one else not even our life partners. Therefore please respect your parents , they will always want our best. They might scold us beat us but difinetly give us best wishes from deep within their heart. At least I have learnt some moral.

Rajdeep Deka
outstanding performance by BigB
by Rajdeep Deka on Nov 02, 2003 02:21 AM

"BAGHBAAN" directed by ravi copra one of my lifetime fav movie.in my view the 2 scene are the best when Amitabh Bachchan couldn't read the letter from his wife Hemaji & finally read by the wife of Paresh Rawal's wife. when she was reading the letter & in the mid of the letter she finally cryed. Oh!!! it can't describe. all the three actors done tht scene very realistic. the second scene's when Amitji recieved the Booker's prize & after that he gave a speech on the stage...i think it's a 15 mins long shot taken in one take...how he expressed the emotion..oh my God!! i was mind blowing perfomence. that scene only can do one & only Amitji...He's really star of the millenium...hat's off to Amitji

by suresh on Oct 28, 2003 05:37 PM

Within first 1/2 hour of the film, a serious hindi film watcher can predict next 21/2 hour film on tip of tongue. Nothing new, except thinking what do Hema's uses herbal products to defy her age.

Bib-B is Tooooo big like mota bhai in baghban
by RAJEEV GOYAL on Oct 28, 2003 12:53 PM

A star never born they only takes AVTAR. this is very right with Mr. Bachchan, he is simply great, if you have good story line, well script, have faith on your own, then only the Bachchan like mega star can be directed. He performs excellent in this movie , he looks amazing , sizzling dances, melodious singing will definately attracts you. Every parents and child should watch this movie. You will surprise to see the dances of a sixty plus Big B.young blood of the country should take a lesson to him.

Nazir Patel
Baghban=Wasted Kleenex
by Nazir Patel on Oct 26, 2003 09:07 AM

Sorry. I loved my parents. I just found no reason to
find sympathy for the characters portrayed by Hema
and Amitabh in Baghban. They were well off. They were
not sick. There was no need for them to separate.
And only in movies does one suddenly strike rich through some book bio. And what mother would not be
forgiving no matter what ? The boss had told Amitabh
that he was welcome to work after retirement. And was he foolish enough inspite of the boss's (for the car)suggestion not to put the savings on line ? Come on . Above all. If the parents were sick in retirement and required help then the children should have social and moral responsibility. But not in the Baghban I saw. I wasted my Kleenex Box - not using it.
I missed Meena Kumari. Hema Malini Wow she looks young.
