There is nothing in the film as krishnaswamy says. If he says that dalits are being insulted then that is useless coment. He is just doing this to increase his popularity. There are no of films in the past which have shown voilence to a great extent Why did not krishnaswamy protest then? he is just doing this to supress a great actor. Kamal is really a great actor.
These politicians were tired of fighting with Jayalalitha and since she didnt consider any of these guys as politicians, they want to make them visible in Tamilnadu by fighting with film stars to make their name and photo available in the front page of the new papers. The context of the song from Thevar magan was different from what Mr.Krishnasamy has understood "Thevar kaladi mannu, pottu paredi penne..." applicable only for those Thevars who really cares for other persons.
Let the best man in the film circle do his job. Better appreciate what he is doing rather than accusing him or criticizing him of something he didn't do.
U r the one who made kamal to take this movie i believe he has taken the real fact what happen during your period. Since kamal has picturised what u have did to your people know u r afraid and want to escape & make yourself popular. Great job krishnaswamy. God bless u
i hope this message gets ms.shoba's attention..the song quoted in the article is.. potri paadadi penne..meaning sing a praise for the land in which devar walked..and pasumponn devar was a man whose morality cant be questioned even if krishnasamy is born again 100 times.
These politicians only making voilence, and ppl are realising their mistakes after seeing such kind of film highlights the problem of making voilence, and kamalhasan doing his job correctly to make the ppl to live peacefuly, all the best to him. Krishnasway just trying to become popular in politics, thats why hes trying this type of technique with the great legend kamalhasan.
Almost every movie succeeds in potraying the brahmin community as an insular community practicing a brand of casteism i havent even heard of. So there's no point in your argument. I dont say that such films should not be released, but right to say and publish whatever (under bounds of decency) should be upheld
