"Hey Ram" was Feb/2000 and "Alavandan" was Nov/2001 you call these "recent" movies. No mention of "Panchanchantiram" or "Anbhe Shivam" when talking about other recent mvoies. Madurai is the "movie capital" of Tamilnadu? from when?. When you try to hide obvious facts to prove a point you just loose credibility. Sorry. We have better things to do.
I don't know about Kamal, but Rajani is very much keen on jumping into Politics. His recent idiotic movie BABA was meant to be an acid test and it falied (fortuantely) miserably.
