Kamal and Rajni are two different personalities.
by Subramaniam S on May 03, 2003 11:06 AM

Kamal and Rajni are two extreme and totally different personalities in Kollywood today. While Kamal struggled to get to this position whereas Rajni with more people support reached a peak. Kamal's statement infer his thoughts on supporting a political party whereas Rajni is in the threshold of making a new.

Both these stars can turn fate of any state and can also change the state of any fate.

Nonsense..!

The article about Kamalhaasan going Rajni's way is a total rubbish. Where's this Satyamoorthy coming from. Is he a Chennaite.. does he know anything about Kamal or the film industry. Thenali and PKS where Superhits and Hey Ram and Aalavandhan are flops but not his recent movies. Hey Ram (2000) Aalavandhan (2001).
I saw Kamal talking to Press on Sun TV and he never said that he's going to support any Political Party as you have mentioned. But he was against Cast and Relgious supporters be it Political Party or Not.
It was also mentioned that choosing Madurai was the main reason for entering into Politics. If somebody asks me who spoils the nation the 1st place goes to Media and then only it's politicians in 2nd place. Try to write the truth and the same useful to the society. Kamal will never enter politics. He'll live and die for Cinema and Be a great supporter of Humanity. Anbae Sivam..

MGR had ruled the roost in tamilnadu through his movies.he was the only actor to have suceeded in politics.rajni had come out in great style and his talk of his political entry had cost him lots of fans.kamal is no exception .a mercurial character like kamal cannot stand the rough and tough of politics.let him concentrate in movies.

Kamal -Don't do that mistake
by Giri on May 03, 2003 09:12 AM

Eventhough Kamal Hassan's last few movies may not have gone well with the public there is always a great appreciatation for his ideas and hard work that he shows in his movies. He tries to make his movies different and has genuinely tried to meet the international standards. He is a good artist and should remain so instead of jumping into politics and becoming corrupt. I pray that he makes a good decision.

Mr. Giri, did you even read my response properly? I said, when Rajini talked about politics, he was giving hits... I never said Kamal didn't give hits during the period. And FYI, Indian was not released in 1989-1996 time. So, it leaves with only Aboorva Sagodhargal. Ok. Compare that to the hits Rajini gave.

Rajni Vs Kamal
by PRAKASH SHARMA on May 21, 2003 01:49 PM

Hey guys there is no point in arguing over Rajni and Kamal. Both are outstanding actors in their own way.Rajni is stylish while Kamal is a performer and a genuine actor, everybody is aware so what if he doesn't deliver hits.At least he tries something different every time he makes films. As far as Rajni is concerned he makes films mostly for common or under priveleged human beings.Thats the reason why his films meet with great success.

It is time film folks kept to their field and not indulge in politics; in Tamilnadu, cinema fans associations abound and stardom seems to be a way to political aspirations ! While I welcome them doing social work for the community, and using their crores for public benefi, they are least qualified for govt running, and better keep away from it. BUT who will listen, all use popularity to earn more money and power ! PITY indeed. May public realise the drams is for own glorification and not real concern for them!
