I think whatever replies are posted are by Kamal's fans... people should never say that whatever their favourite actor/actress says is right... we have brain to use.. please use that.
Please don't give importance to all these cinimawalas. They have ruined this Tamilnadu for the last 36 years.In no other state in India the flim stars have been given so much impotance like in Tamil nadu in politics.
Leave him alone, I say, let him be an actor, a good actor. If he talks why should we interpret it in so many ways. Politics is the plank which everybody who fails in other area seeks. Just because he utters something, let it not be enough to jump into conclusions. Neverthless it has been the tradition in Tamil Nad for the past so many decades that this state is being ruled by film people. Just because he is able to deliver his dialogues well, the people elected an actor as their leader. Why not try one KamalaHasan for a change. Let him divorce or remarry that is his choice. Will he become a role model for others? Let him get a chance. Leave him alone.
It's not new for anyone to have a word at the political hues in tamil nadu.That is Because politics has penetrated the life and breath of tamilians today. If only people stuck to thier own profession and not gain milage it would be more proffessional
Wow! Mr. Sathiya Moorthy has some imagination. Instead of coming up with his own interpretation, he/Rediff should have reproduced Kamal's interview and let the readers decide. If Rediff doesn't have anything to publish about Southern movies, it is better that they don't publish anything about it rather than come up with wild allegations.
Kamal has repeatedly said that he is not interested in politics and that's what he said here too. It is nothing new and has nothing to do with Rajini.
Dear Sir, Pls. do get the facts right before writing an article. Your articles are widely read and pls. don't commit mistakes. 1) Tenali was a big hit and not a flop as you had mentioned and moreover the film was released three years back and its not a recent movie. Kamal's recent movies are Panchathanthiram and Anbe Sivam. To tell you further, Anbe Sivam was not a comedy movie. It was a serious film.
2) When BASHA was released ADMK was in power and not DMK. Basha was produced by R.M.Veerappan ( a close associate of MGR). R.M.Veerappan was a Minister in Jayalalitha's cabinet during the same time. During the Silver Jubilee celebrations of Basha Rajni launched an attack on Jayalalitha. His attack on Jayalalitha and the silence of Veerappan during the gathering cost Veerappan his minister's post.
Kamal has been giving frequent one liners about Politics often, but till now has not mentioned his keenness and desire to join Politics. As for Rajni, he dabbles with Politics indirectly. Its the fate of TamilNadu that Films and Politics c0-exist together since the days of C.N.Annadurai
Regarding the article which says THENALI was a flop, i would like to bring to the kind notice of yours that it was a smash hit not only in tamilnadu but even in bangalore where it successfully completed more than an hundred days of run in two theaters. kindly verify your facts before publishing your reports.even the mention of aalavandan and hey!ram as recent movies deserves the same.since hey!ram he has done 5 movies over 3 years.
