What do you think about music lovers? They are not in for judging a fancy dress competition. And for Godssake, please... please never sing. Enough of your howling and barking noises. Hello Everybody, Hs interview is as good as disgusting it is. It is true that each composer has their own style. But it doesn't means that everyone r best in their style. No other music directors in India has the capability of Rahman. "Given a chance, I would do a great job for a Bajirao Mastani, Mughal-e-Azam, or a Lagaan." Of course he will do. That's what each one of the composers would try to do. That's their job. But the bottomline is that 'whose music is best'. Filmfare has rated Rahman as No. 1. Anu Malik as No.4(or 3). Nadeem-Shravan as No.2. Each of the composers know who is the best in India. And even after knowing the best one, it is sheer stupidity to make comments like " I wear jeans and a T-shirt and appear flamboyant.Maybe if I wear a kurta and pyjama and sport a teeka, or turn elusive and work at nights, they will come to me!" Nice comment Anu. Even if u take 7 births, u can't attain the heights that Rahmman has obtained. For peoples who might be thinking that Rahman's music is not as good as his old films,u need to know a fact that Rahman is slowly moving away from Bollywood.He is busy with most of his international projects.Jealousy is killing Anu.
Nadeem Sharvan is teh best music dir. in bollywood . he has given many good music like aashiquie,saajan, deewana,pardes,haan mene bhi pyar kiya hai,ek rishta, hum hogaye aapke,raaz,kasoor,dil ka rishta,andaaz,hungama,footpath etc and specially dhadkan he is just the best
quite naive on your part, mr interviewer, to say that raamlaxman is the only music director that the rajshris have worked with. LP (DOSTI) & Ravindra Jain (CHITCHOR, GEET GATA CHAL & several other films) are 2 unforgettable names who preceded raamlaxman. remember, you don't have to be as superficial as the subjects whom you interview.
Why is everyone comparing Malik to Rahman?U should all know that Anu will never be Rahman & Rahman be never be Anu. Rahman created an image for himself and made good music because he got what he wanted. But no-one should think that he is the best.
Anu copied songs.He admitted that it was bad.But he also delivered songs that will be remembered.He worked with singers like Rafi saab and Kishore da back in the 80s.He still delivers hits with Indian feelings.He gave hummable tunes thru-out his 25 years and is the most creative musician Bollywood had.
Indeed Rahman is in a different league. But Rahman cannot produce a Judwaa or a Border. His tunes are South-Indian based and have to be adapted to Hindi cinema.His music speaks for himself.He started off with big directors & got the chance to work only with them
Anu strived & waited for his time to come.He worked with most singers.He copied a lot of songs & does not need any credit for these songs.That was the past.He needs to do less films & concentrate more on his work
Those who don't like him, don't listen to any of his songs; old or new & stick to Rahman 4 life.Then see how Bollywood would have been without Anu?Be fair!
