tell me frankly, didn't you enjoy the movie for three full hours? nowhere i found the movie confusing. yes the movie has quite a few characters but it's not a ten-hour flick that you won't remember what had happened in the first 30 minutes. when you write about ten characters you may need to think for a second about the first character you penned down about. i spoke to about ten people and each one of them remembered raja when he was reintroduced in the movie. i think film reviewers are not supposed to review every film 'critically'. if a film intends to provide you a few laughter-filled moments, find out whether the director succeeded in that or not. and when a director claims to have a thought-provoking cinema look at it that way. however, i personally feel that a director like Priyadarshan could have given a better climax!!!
From now on I would never read a movie review posted by rediff management, I would rather read people's opinion on the movie, which would give me a lot better idea of how the movie is. Get better reviewers Rediff!!
Saw a very decent and nice comedy after a long time. Don't understand how the review was written. I think the reviewer has not even seen the movie...an excellent movie..
I have seen the original malayalam version and the Hindi version. Both the movies are very good. The reviewer should probably watch an art movie and review it. Please dont review a comedy again...because u dont understand it.
While i was in kerala and even after being in uk for the past few years ,i have never missed a priyan movie.yes, there has been no doubt ever that priyan's comedy movies in mallu were all 'inspired'by english originals.but somehow he managed to 'keralise'them with the help of that gifted srinivasan and others.once they started to get stale he turned his attentions on bollywood who was perhaps unaware of his mallu'original' comedies.hera-- was ok,but mera ghar-- was a terrible adaptation of the brilliant original made by the talented sathyan anthikkad.his latest hungama may have been lapped up by the comedy starved 'northies'but i wonder how long this hungama will go on!?
