The Film is very hillarious comedy. Paresh Rawal,Rimi Sen,Rajpal Yadav is superb. Aftaab don`t get much scope. But it is very confusing. What happens to Sanjay Narvekar at end? No Expalanation is given.What about Upasana Singh when she goes to station?Nothing is mentioned.But Climax is tereffic.Its the best part. "Pari Pari"song is very melodious.A good movie.
Hi i am Hitesh . I want to share my comments on the film Hungama. Hungama is a great comedy movie which is better than herapheri. Paresh Rawal played an excellent role in this film.
Man, this movie was soooo hilarious. Paresh Rawal was the best. Every moment of the movie was funny.
The Rediff review was totally misguiding...i would say you should watch this movie first. All my friends agreed that Hungama is really entertaining. It was a long time since we saw some real comedy [since Hera Pheri].
Hangama film is very good comady comady story. And i would like this film very much.and thanking to Parasha raval,and his company.Thanku for the director to given us this film.
I think the movie is well made. If you watch the movie with attention you would enjoy the complications and misunderstandings in to movie which result in outright comedy.
Yes the movie is good to a larger extent. But i am sorry to say that it is a straight lift from an old Telugu movie "gopala rao gaari ammai" (daughter of Gopala Rao). Even some scenes were copied, i would rather say, xeroxed ofcourse with new faces.

Yes that telegu movie is a copy of "poochakooru mukkuthi" like most of the telegu movies from Hit Malayalam movies.

Hungama is the remake of Priyadarshan's early Hit "Poochakkoru Mookkoothi" in Malayalam released late 80s . And sorry to say that just like anyother Telgu movie "gopala rao gaari ammai" is a cut and paste clippings of other regional hit movies

Yes Hungama is remake of Malayalam cinema POOCHAKKORU MOOKKUTHI. It was his debute film as a director. All his Hindi films are remakes of Malayalam & Tamil films except Kabhi Na Kabhi. Muskurahat - Kilukkam, Gardhish - Kireedam. Virasat - Thevar Magan, Saat Rang Ke Sapna - Thenmavin Kombathu, Doli Saja Ke Rakna - Aniyathipravu, Hera Pheri - Ramjirao Speaking, Yeh Tera ghar Yeh Mera Ghar - Sanmanasullavarkku Samadhanam and now Hungama. In these Muskurahat, Sath Rang Ke Sapna and Hungama are from his own Film.(Heard he is making "Thalavattam" in Hindi with Shah Rukh Khan). Earlier David Dhawan has lifted somany Scenes and situation from Priyans original Malayalam Films. So better Priyan remake his own Film before David Dhawan does!!!. But all his hindi film are technically better than the originals. Remember his Mega Hits in Malayalams are not copied from anywhere. Chithram, Kilukkam, Vellanakalude Nadu & Thenmavin Kombathu.

Actually the telugu movie u r talking about is a remake of a Malayalam Movie which was directed by Priyadarshan about 20 years ago. He just remade his own movie into Hindi now. The malayalm movie "Poochakkoru Mookuthi" was a blockbuster and which made Mohanlal a star in Malayalam.

Most of the Priyadarshan films are "inspired" from Hollywood films and regional language Plays. But few Hindi Films are copied from his film. Mahesh Manjreker's so called hit film "Vaastav" is a copy of Priyan's "Abhimanyu", Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega is from Chandralekha and Pyar Hua Chori Chori is from Chitram. So What should they called, copy cat of copy cat.

No Way Can A Mallu comedy film be ripped off to another language!!! Sorry to say previous rip offs have been pathetic (hera pheri<Ram G Rao Speaking> for eg. had akshay kumar instead Mukesh.he would have been better as a henchman in that movie) Sorry To Say Priyadarshan ur work in both industry is on the end of the rope

hello vamsi..when u have to find fault on some body u have to investigate properly..Hungama is the remake of priyadarshan's first malyalam Movie which was realeased in early 80's ( poochakkoru mookkuthi) starring shankar and Mohanlal..which was remade in all the south Indian languages..
hey guys , dont go on the reviewer , he/she is sucks . last time the review on qayamat was awsome when the movie was pathetic . hungama is an excellent movie . through and through comedy , saw some good humorous movie after a long time , falls in the range of hera pheri and andaz apna apna. its a must see movie. Panna.
