NO FACILITY seems to have been sanctioned officially. The illegal transaction reported to have happened since 2011. As LOU has validity period most of such LOU would have either be retired or repaid. LOU issued since April 2017 would have been pending as similar such operation seems to have been stopped during Jan 2018.- Quantum of loss is yet to be disclosed. Had the LOU issued at the initial stage is/are returned this fraudulent transaction would have been noticed.

these scams are from the previous govt - era. why did these crooks not feel the need to elope then and only now? is it because their immunity from govt. action has gone?
