What a biased headline!!
by anand kondaguli on Jun 09, 2017 11:22 AM

How can u have a title or conclude the farmers are disillusioned with the present Gov which is hardly 3 years old??

When the congress did max to ruin the country and the prospects of the country by keeping the farmers uneducated and giving them free grains n MNREGA....do not give them fish to eat rather teach them how to catch the fish.
As a result of congress policies, there is a huge shortage of man power at every village and villagers are becoming lethargic and taking the wrong path of bad habits.

Go to the round level and take proper info instead of wiring some report sitting comfortably!!

LOAN!
by Manabendra Pathak on Jun 09, 2017 09:50 AM  | Hide replies

What is the permanent solution? You give loan to big people, they won't pay back and abscond from the country. You give loan to small people and end of the day you need to waive it.

just give the farmer the msp he is due. the govt can subsidise the food ifthe consumer feels burdened. right now the farmer is bearing this subsidy. you call him the back one of the country. so let not that back bone break. the country will become spineless.

BJP government is Corporate Government is working for Corporate is clear agenda of the BJP. Now BJP given the promise to give profit 50% on cost of Crop production is justified decision before 2014 election now not implementing promise given to farmer by BJP government. Farmer fighting for their survival none of the Industry will work if they not recover cost of the production & 50% profit on cost of production then why farmer ignore cannot be justified even not recovering the cost of the crop is under debt living miserable life force to do suicide by BJP government cannot be tolerate in India . What farmer is doing is justified decision left with no option to make pressure on BJP Government but BJP Government not doing any work visible action to met farmer justified demand. BJP Government only passing time to surpass farmer agitation can make worst effect on BJP government. Anything can happen country wide best step is by government must make committee immediately to take action immediately to met farmer justified demand but now BJP Government making fool to farmer by giving false assurance without any base of any action to met farmer demand to generate confident in farmer cannot be tolerate in India.

Re: those supporting farmers should not do mere lip service

Either the public ready to pay extra tax / cess to offset the huge loss due to proposed waiver of agricultural loans or stop shedding crocodile tears.
if you want to help farmers by writing off their loan:
1)be ready and willing to pay extra tax /cess otherwise the banks and the economy would fail
2) do not cry if the prices of agricultural products /vegetables/cereals/pulses is increased
The same public which calls for support of MSP would cry shelling out extra when the prices of agricultural produce would rise

Corrupt Congresssi
by tolerant india on Jun 09, 2017 07:56 AM

Congresssi was neglected and spoiled the Indian agriculture sector from last 5-6 decades, they have not taken any major projects or initiatives to help the formers in country. BJP Govt. should take some initiatives to help our formers, every formers should utilize the new technologies since majority (98%) of the formers still uses old and manual process. To utilize new technologies in agriculture, Govt should implement new initiatives or subsidies to the formers.

Congress is behind this
by mohit anand on Jun 09, 2017 01:11 AM  | Hide replies

All such incidents like this happening across India is of Congresss doing, the opposition has joined hands and is fueling these incidents to show BJP in bad light. Sites like these who run on money thrown to them by Congress are also helping.

and Amit, the gasbhai, just cant comprehend it !

Fuelled by the tens of thousands of crores of rupees in black money given to them by Gautam Adani and co, the two were just in the middle of a massive hyndu....muxlim........hyndu.......muxlim.......hyndu........braying campaign all across India when the stuxpid farmers had to come in and break their momentum !

Just what do these nitwits, the farmers, think they are ?

Cant they just quieten down like all good north Indian middle class commoners and chant hyndu......muxlim.........hyndu........muxlim....along with them ??

Why do these farmers have to bring in irrelevant topics such as loan waivers after crop failure, better conditions for farming in irrigation, supply of seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, higher MSPs, etc??

As it is Farmers are crying that they don't have proper prices for crops, they are wasting Milk shown in the photo, burning Buses bought with peoples money.
Farmers are backbone of any country - Agree with this point fully.
But why is the Backbone thinking from the minds of some corrupt political parties?
Many people who have left their jobs and taken up Farming have been doing well.
Even Farmers have been doing well not that they are dying. Real Farmers who are dying are not the one protesting and those getting more profits by way of control APMC prices are protesting.
