Its true that today, there is a fear of lending and that has to go away. It will go away only when recovery mechanisms are strengthened. The legal system and courts have been neglected are a bottleneck. The need is not only to increase but multiply investment in the courts. More judges, better infra and less leniency in procedure.
Please survey manufacturers /industrialists, govt dept like pf,labour, pollution /enviro ,vat are major sharks haunting them. What support is our govt providing them or any business for that matter. all govt officials are making policies that they DO NOT EARN their livelihood. come on schools are not allowed to make profit..Unless such harsh policies exist forget about make in india !!!
If a made in India product is available then I will definitely go for it because say whatever Indian goods are far superior to Chinese goods. No doubt Chinese goods are cheap but Indian consumers are getting smarter these days, they have learnt that you actually end up spending more money on chinese goods compare to Indian goods. For Example I buy an Indian item for say Rs 100 which lasts for one year and I buy a same item made in china for only Rs 20/- but this item lasts for only 2 months. Now, if I want to use this item for one year I will have to spend Rs 120/- which means I am spending Rs 20/- extra on Chinese item. If I buy an Indian made shoe, say from bata then it almost last for 5-10 years from me, whereas a Chinese shoe last only for around 6 months that too after several repairs on it. The Indian consumers are definitely getting smarter and going for Indian goods wherever and whenever possible. I have clearly observed this during Diwali. One week before Diwali every nook and corner firecrackers stalls used to come up in Hyderabad, this Diwali there were no such stalls, which is an indication that chinese goods are being avoided, even diyas used were Indian made, believe it or not I have not seen a single Chinese made diya in the market this diwali. The initiative and the will is there from the common public but Government should also take initiative and reduce taxes so that items will get cheaper and this drive against chinese goods will be a grand success.

Totally agree with you. The change is noticeable. May be nationalism and patriotism will not work in business or for businessmen. But when the consumer says I need 'made in India' what choice does the business man have. If they are ready to forego the fancy Chinese items for a hand made clay diya then why can't make in India progress !

Make in India is a request for foreign industrialists. They come to India and make. If the products manufactured in India either by foreign companies or the Indian companies are of standard nature (good quality, reasonable price etc.) they can be purchased. Foreign products like Chinese make may be cheap but there will be no possibility of repair. Government should impose some standards by which the products made will be qualitative one and sold at reasonable price. Let us practice the habit using goods made in India. Jai Hind. Jai Bharat.
Please do not get into petty issues related to Make in India. Swadesi feeling is about encouraging countrymen to buy products made in our country.Heard from grand parents that once upon a time Japanese were very bad (6-7 decades ago) at manufacturing and people use to call, Japani-gudiya, if something is of very poor quality. With such experience Japanese have gradually evolved to what it is now and so is China evolving. If we do not love our country then please never expect our neighboring countries would come forward to love India! Look at ISRO and loom at Indian pharma API sector (active chemicals which go into pharma products), whole of world buys pharma APIs from India including US,EU and Japan. Give a chance so that other sectors will also come upto such level. Encourage, with mistakes always a child learns and grows.
Congrats. you are a consultant for capitalists who invest only around 55 of the money they are controlling.Remember a road side mechanic or a street corner trader is also a capitalist who uses only his money and not others money. Now the problem is mainly between domestic entrepreuners and multi nationals.Dont talk about I phones only.Do we need super malls to sell soaps and tooth pastes.
Is there any other country in the world that for every goods made here, there is duplicate? Why on earth we have to ask the shopkeeper whether a product is "original" or "duplicate"?
