Life means adjustments. If king fisher was not paying salaries on time, or delaying salaries regularly, it was a good enough indicator for the employees to leave the company and live a low quality life than what they were used to. Once a person gets used to a certain luxury, it is very difficult for them live a low standard of life , but then this is what is life all about. Ups and downs.... easier said then done but when there is no choice one has to to take up any job which comes your way. How can some one stick to company for so long and cry. Vijay Mallya is a culprit , but the biggest culprits are the bankers, politicians and all the guys involved in giving loan to this company. Though I have sympathy with the employees , but you cannot drag this. Go find some work, even if it means to run a taxi. Now a days OLa/Uber drivers make good money.. and get on with life. Good times will come again and remember to be wise then.

Businessman like Vijay Mallya plays with the life of workers after studying that country's law. He knew if he does not pay employees dues at London, he would have to forgo his going to london or if gone by mistakke than would have to spent rest of his life behind bars which is not so in India so he did not pay. The custodians of law in India is in the hands of people who are either selected in reversed categories or got job by favoring (suparis). So don't expect justice without tears.
Like this man the other managers are all ex Air India they brought that culture. This man even wanted his daughter to join the airline as a pilot.Public sector mentality. Employees used the airline to go for weddings birthdays excetra, and stayed at the company cost. They also did their personal work in other cities at company expense, no wonder it went bust
Right from big to small companies default on salaries of employees. There is no redressal mechanism for this. Especially the IT and Start up industry is notorious for this. Employees need to be smart and start looking out for new jobs when they smell troubls. The KFA employees didn't see it coming.

employees have to be smart and leave People do leave if they are capable of getting another job some are useless, some are misguided staff leave when they get better offer elsewhere, otherwise they stick around, punching cards evenafter the company shuts down, like bankers continue to count the interest. banks might have lent only 1/3 of their claim, rest are stories money is invested in shares of these companies and several have lost, including banks

You are directly responsible for 60 years of mess in India, how it will sound to you , Blaming others is easy taking responsibility is difficult.

fully agree with you, it is not only KFA , there are many small to big corporates who just brush aside salaries to be paid to employees
All these employees must ask our Hon PM Modiji and Finance Minister to clear their dues, since Vijay Mallya escaped from the very watchful eyes of this govt, it is definitely moral responsibility of Modiji to clear employees' dues.

employees and unsecured creditors must be paid before banks are paid-that is the law,but banks are trying to liquidate the assets

Subra, Thats not the law. When a company goes for liquidation, first Government dues are cleared then PSU dues are cleared then if any thing is left, it is on first come first come basis.
So here first Service Tax,PF etc will have to be cleared. Then IOC, HPCL will get their money for fuel supplied by them. Finally if any thing is still left, employees and other suppliers will get their dues.

It was the UPA regime that gave generous loans to Vijay mallay, like they gave loans to Mr. Vadra. So instead of asking modi, they should ask monia.
There is no reservations and no permanent jobs in private set up. Employees are unnecessarily sticking to a dead company. Mallya is supposed to pay only due salaries before formal closure took place. That is all.In India government babus behave like Jawai of Government and get hooked permanently with department and bleed it. if now private sector also things will go to dogs.
KFA is not the only company run by Mallya, there are so many more and all the company employees are getting their salaries and living happily. You should have been smart enough to realise that the company was not doing well and should have quit much early. No point in crying over spilt milk. I have worked in one of his companies for over 9 years and I have reaped the rewards and used the experience as a stepping stone to take my career forward. So dont try to trample over a man who is down, u r just trying to fish in troubled waters.
Grow up man. Mallya didn't ruin your lift. You yourself have ruined it. The moment you see they started delayed salaries, you should have quit and find another job. Are you not employable elsewhere?
